Phil Robertson Reunited With Miss Kay In Care Facility, Amid Poor Prognosis
Fans of Duck Dynasty have recently learned sad news concerning family patriarch Phil Robertson amid various health battles. However, fans were recently given some happier news concerning him and his spouse, Miss Kay. Notably, this comes out as Duck Dynasty fans are about to see a series revival.
Duck Dynasty Fans Have Been Following Health Updates Over Phil Robertson On The Family Podcast
Audiences first watched the Robertson family from the A&E series, Duck Dynasty, which originally ran from 2012 to 2017. Following the series’ end, fans have continued to follow the family through social media and podcasts.
Phil Robertson is the patriarch of the Robertson family, as seen on the show, and the founder of the Duck Commander company. He and his wife, known to fans as “Miss Kay,” were married in 1966. The two have four sons together. Alan, Jase, Willie, and Jep, in addition to grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Recently, on the “Unashamed with the Robertson Family” podcast, Jase and Al Robertson shared some good news concerning their parents, Phil and Miss Kay. During the April 11 episode, Jase shared, “We now have Phil and Kay back together. It has been fantastic.”
In an earlier episode, it was explained that Phil was in “professional care.” Meanwhile, Miss Kay was recovering from an infection from a cut after a fall.
Jase noted that things aren’t easy for their parents at this time. As he shared,”My dad’s not doing great overall, and my mom is not doing great physically.”
On The Podcast, Jase Described Phil & Miss Kay’s ‘Different Kingdoms’
However, Jase also noted how much they help each other. As he shared, “She has to have pretty much 24/7 professional healthcare, but my dad, it’s like, ‘You’re helping her morale.’ She’s helping his morale.” Jase also noted, “He’s been so much calmer since she came back.”
Jase also explained that family and friends have also been visiting Phil and Miss Kay. Both groups were dubbed Miss Kay and Phil’s respective “kingdoms.”

Jase also added, “They’re in a facility where there are other people, but they have their own little private room. It’s great. And so, they’re helping each other, so that’s been positive.”
It was also noted that, “The challenge has been, we have so many people coming up there, we’re being disruptive. We’ll have to address that later.”
Duck Dynasty Fans Were Also Treated To A Funny Anecdote About Phil & Miss Kay
Jill Dasher, who is married to Robertson cousin Zach Dasher, was also on the podcast. She shared, a funny story, in which Phil took note of his wife being unable to dye her hair.
Phil reportedly asked, “What’s Kay got going on [with] that half-devil hair?” Jase noted that the two also bicker, much like in past times.
As previously reported, Jase shared the “blunt truth” that Phil isn’t doing too well. As he shared, “We’re making him comfortable, and we’re doing the best we can. I think that’s just what you do.” Back in December, Jase had previously revealed that his father’s health was failing following a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
Willie Robertson also spoke with Fox News Digital to explain his father’s condition. He shared, “He’s got a blood disorder, and then he’s got the mental issues that could be early [on-set] Alzheimer’s… and probably some mini-strokes because of his blood.”
“And so, it could be some stroke stuff happening, that has happened. So, we’re still checking on all that. But then he also has a back issue. He’s fractured his back and that’s where the pain’s at. So, he’s kind of battling many different things at the same time.”
Notably, a reboot of Duck Dynasty is already planned to come out in the summer of 2025. It was previously revealed that Phil will not be appearing in the revival. However, Miss Kay and Phil’s brother, “Uncle Si,” were said to be making appearances.
