The first series came out in 2002, with the following season coming out in 2006. The series then saw a revival in 2016.

  • “Luke, Golden God and George. Heck yes!! It’s going to be hectic.”
  • “Can’t wait! This is going to be epic. Love Australian Survivor, the format is awesome!”
  • “Would have loved Boston Rob I know did two game shows last year but he knows how to play the game. David will work with Parvati too.”
  • “Australia is doing what Survivor fans wants from US Survivor.”
  • “Yasss!! Got some greats back from Oz & the world – seeing King George in the same game as Big Tony, Janine & Pavarti – here for it!”

Notably, when the cast was teased on Instagram, Genat himself poked fun at his appearance on the show. As he jokingly wrote in the comments, “Me?” This caused the Australian Survivor Instagram page to tease, “Yes, you.” Genat himself as took to Instagram to tease, “Guys apparently Australian Survivor is a show!!”
