‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Return Date Revealed
The View is believed to be taking a little break. Notably, this comes out as fans are worried which co-hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg, will be getting their contracts renewed. However, fans have a way of knowing just when they will be seeing their favorite hosts again. In fact, these fans can even get a chance at seeing these hosts in person.
The View Appears To Be Taking A Hiatus Amid Exit Rumors From Fans
For years, Whoopi Goldberg was known to audiences as an actress and a comedian. However, since 2007, she’s served as a co-host on The View.
Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar have been known for taking a few absences from The View as of late. In addition, Goldberg and Behar are also known for having a four-day-a-week schedule on the show. However, there have been times when this has changed. Notably, Goldberg also recently filmed a Friday episode, a rarity for the star.
As previously reported, Goldberg was recently the subject of rumors claiming that she might soon be exiting the series. At the time, it was noted that contracts have yet to be renewed for Goldberg, Behar, and Sunny Hostin past Season 28.
However, the show is currently taking a break. In the interim, fans can expect to see a few of the show’s reruns until the talk show makes its return. It’s also believed The Weekend View and the podcast, The View: Behind the Table, will also be similarly taking a break.
Fans Can Also Have A Glimpse At Some Of The View‘s Upcoming Guest Stars
The View, as well as other ABC shows, often use 1iota.com to confirm when new episodes will come out. Using the site, fans can also request tickets and take a peek at who the upcoming special guests will be.
Some dates allow fans to purchase tickets for the 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM dates, which film in New York. Notably, most of the episodes for this week have already sold out tickets.

According to the website, the series will be making its return on the week of April 22, 2025. This suggests that the show is taking a break for the Easter holiday.
During the show’s initial return, some guests include Eva Longoria, Shanola Hampton, Bowen Yang, Cheech & Chong, Ezra Klein, Christie Brinkley, Wanda Sykes, Ed Helms, and Jeremy Renner, among others. The last day of the month will feature Amber Ruffin, Geena Davis, and Sean Penn. Some early fans in May include Kerry Washington, Busy Philipps, Omar Sy, and Chloe Fineman.

As previously reported, The View is no stranger for taking a break for the holidays. Earlier this year, the show took a break for Christmas and New Year’s, initially taking a break on December 20, 2024. At the time, it was noted that, as New Year’s Day fell during the middle of the week, fans had to wait until January 6, 2025, for more episodes.
