‘Bachelor’ Joey Graziadei Reveals Next Step In TV Career

Before he was on reality TV, Bachelor star Joey Graziadei was a tennis instructor in Hawaii. He left that job to join Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. When it came down to Joey or Dotun Olubeko, Charity chose Dotun. Joey went on to find love with Kelsey Anderson on The Bachelor. His popularity led to him competing on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars, which he won.
After three reality TV shows, what’s next for Joey Graziadei? Keep reading to find out about his future plans.
Joey Graziadei Defends Moving Fiance To L.A. Instead Of N.Y.C.
Joey Graziadei lived in Hawaii for many years before appearing on The Bachelorette. He’s originally from Philly. His fiance Kelsey Anderson is from New Orleans. After getting engaged on The Bachelor, they planned to meet in the middle and get a place in New York City.
Kelsey said it had always been a dream of hers to live in the Big Apple. But plans change. When Joey Graziadei landed the Dancing With The Stars gig, the show set him up with a temporary apartment in Los Angeles. Kelsey Anderson moved across the country with them, though they still planned to move back to NYC after DWTS.
However, Joey liked L.A. so much that they decided to stay there after his run on the dance competition was over. Some fans thought that it was a major red flag for Kelsey to give up her dream of NYC to stay in Los Angeles with Joey.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine, he defended the decision. “New York City was definitely something she’s always dreamed of and something she wanted to do,” he said.
“When we came to L.A. for Dancing with the Stars, she wanted to give it a chance. She’s understood, ‘Hey, New York’s always going to be there,’ and I actually enjoy the idea of visiting there and like the idea of being here in L.A. So we’ve been kind of surprised how much we’ve appreciated L.A., because we didn’t think that was somewhere we wanted to be.”
Bachelor Star Reveals His Next Career Move
Fans can’t get enough of Joey Graziadei. He shared with PEOPLE that he hopes to be back on TV soon. But does he want to join another reality show or does he have higher ambitions?
He confessed that after being on The Bachelorette, The Bachelor, and Dancing With The Stars, he wants a break from reality TV. “I’d rather not be on the reality side for a little bit. I don’t want to do another competition show. I’m looking into doing something with hosting, with broadcasting, and see where doors can open,” Joey said.

He Shares Wedding Update
While Bachelor Nation fans want to see Joey on TV again, they really want to see him get married. He was open on The Bachelor that he wanted a long engagement and his fiance, Kelsey Anderson, agreed with that.
He told PEOPLE magazine that the next step in wedding planning is to set a date. Actually, that is also the first step for the engaged couple. Joey said that once they set a date, the ball will get rolling on the rest of the wedding plans.
