His responsibilities also became a huge obstacle for him to continue moving forward. He even suffered from a cardiac arrest during the episode, making things more difficult. It led to a one-week coma.

But the My 600-Lb Life star’s family supported him, and he eventually got himself back on track. He dropped 122 pounds by the end of his episode. But it wasn’t enough for Dr. Now to give him a green light for bariatric surgery. Isaac ended his episode at 539 pounds. Fortunately, he returned for a special episode where he gave huge updates about his journey.

Isaac’s Huge Life Update In New Special

TLC recently released a clip from the latest episode of Where Are They Now? featuring the return of Isaac Martinez. The My 600-Lb Life star was still struggling with his weight. But he revealed that playing a trumpet has been helping him improve his breathing. Isaac also revealed that he had only lost 11 pounds last month and that he needed to lose another 14 pounds this month so Dr. Now could give him the surgery.

Isaac also said that he’s planning on going back to music school to continue pursuing his dreams. He was thankful for all the support he was getting from his family. His brother later arrived at the scene and invited him for a walk in the park, which has been their routine. Isaac was told to carry his trumpet while using a walker. Some fans also took to the comments section to cheer for Isaac. Others also told him to oil the valves of his trumpet.
