The goal of NBC’s reality competition The Voice is to find the next big music artist. But things took a turn backstage between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. They met on the show in 2014 when they were both going through divorced. Blake was in the process of divorcing Miranda Lambert. Gwen’s 13-year marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale was finalized in 2016.
What began as friendship and bonding over their failed marriage turned to romance for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. They finally tied the knot in 2021 after six years of dating.
The pairing took fans by surprise. There have been rumors of trouble in paradise between the two singers. But they seem to still be going strong. Blake Shelton recently surprised his wife by taking her to an actual paradise.
Blake Shelton Took Gwen Stefani To ‘Unforgettable’ Place
In an interview with Access Hollywood last year, Blake Shelton couldn’t stop gushing over Gwen Stefani, who he called his “best friend.” He revealed that they enjoy spending time together, even if it is only for the simplest things.
“We have fun with it — maybe that’s the key. We have so much fun together. Whether we’re having a cup of coffee in the morning, watching a movie, or performing in an arena somewhere,” he told the outlet.
The No Doubt singer took to Instagram to share a recent trip she took with Blake Shelton. The happy couple were joined by her sons Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11. She shares the kids with her ex-husband. They also have another son, Kingston, 18.
The blended family went to the Ozarks for some family time. They stayed in a stunning lodge in Branson, Missouri. Gwen Stefani shared a glimpse at the fun activities she enjoyed with her husband and kids during the getaway.
The clip shows the family spending time exploring caves, visiting churches, and noshing on the local cuisine. The resort they stayed at also features luxury golf courses, which Blake Shelton undoubtedly took advantage of.
