Travis Kelce Denies ‘False Claims’ Made By Pat McAfee
Travis Kelce talks about a lot on his podcast, New Heights, with his brother, Jason Kelce. However, he almost never approaches the rumors that spread about him. With the Kansas City Chiefs star dating Taylor Swift, it seems almost better to avoid the rumors and just let them die. However, he responded to some “false claims” made about him, and it seemed like a strange one to dismiss.
Here is what Travis said that Pat McAfee said about him that wasn’t true.
Travis Kelce Denies Making Charitable Donation
Pat McAfee took the time to praise Travis Kelce on his ESPN show. According to McAfee, he said that Kelce donated $3.3 million to charity and helped transform a Kansas City house into a living facility for young homeless people. According to McAfee, this was proof that Kelce was a good guy and didn’t deserve the hate he receives just for dating Taylor Swift.

“I love this type of stuff,” McAfee said. “Obviously a lot of negative gets covered around the NFL and professional athletics… There are people that just naturally hate him because he’s very popular, very famous. Especially now because he’s dating the most popular and famous person in the world in Taylor Swift. So him giving back, making the world a better place, I think should be chatted about.”
The Daily Mail also reported that Kelce joined forces with charity Foster Love to create a 6,500-square-foot property with six bedrooms, five bathrooms and various amenities like a game room and study area.
Despite this all being great press and positive news, Travis Kelce wasted no time in shutting it down and letting people know it is not true. He said he donated nothing to help the homeless people in Kansas City with Foster Love.
Travis Kelce Says Where People Can See His Charitable Donations
“I gotta make a little statement in the don’t believe everything you read kids category, realm that you see online. Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not,” Travis Kelce said. He then said that he did nothing with Foster Love to help the homeless community in Kansas City.

“I’m not even going to talk about it specifically, I don’t want to bring any more attention to that whole nonsense and article and all that stuff,” Travis said, referring to the charitable donations as “nonsense.” He said that anyone who wants to see what he is doing in the community can look at 87running.org
Kelce praised Pat McAfee, though, since McAfee was only reporting what he read on Daily News. “Appreciate everybody for always trying to show love, especially Pat McAfee. He’s always trying to look out for the guys and women in the sports world,” Travis said.
