Hallmark’s 2025 Christmas Ramped Up To ‘4,000 Hours’ Of Holiday Programming
Christmas may be in over 260 days, but Hallmark is already planning their holiday programming. This includes “expansive holiday content” that will give viewers access to “over 4,000 hours of holiday content.” This includes another collaboration with the NFL, the renewal of Sarah Drew’s Christmas-mystery series Mistletoe Murders, and a limited series that sees the return of Jane Seymour to the network.

Hallmark Christmas Features Over 4,000 Of Holiday Programming
Hallmark recently shared a press released for the 2025-2026 Upfronts, as the TCAWinter 2025, and TCASummer 2025 have both been canceled. What they promise will thrill Christmas movie fans. The network plans over 4,000 hours of holiday content this season. That is an astounding amount of content for the 16th anniversary of Countdown To Christmas.
Firstly, the network is once again collaborating with the NFL and Skydance sports for Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. Currently, they have not announced leads or who is writing and directing this movie. That information is forthcoming. The Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld love story surely has inspired this Buffalo-inspired romance. So expect some spicy hot wings, and some big cameos.
In addition, Hallmark shared, “The partnership will include fan activities, c-branded merchandise, and widespread promotions across various platforms.” Those details will be forthcoming.
Next, the network announced The Twelve Dates Of Christmas. This is the working title and could be changed. This stars Mae Whitman, Mary McDonnell, and Jane Seymour. This movie is based on the Jenni Bayliss novel of the same name.
Lastly, “Another highlight is Mistletoe Murders, starring and executive produced by Sarah Drew, who plays Emily Lane, a Christmas shop owner who solves local murders.” This Chrismystery series also stars Peter Mooney and Sierra Marilyn Riley. Most importantly, the showrunner is Ken Cuperus, who wrote the incredible Audible Original series of the same name.
Most importantly, both Season 1 and Season 2 will premiere on the Hallmark Channel.
Network Filming Other Holiday Movies
Not all of Hallmark’s upcoming holiday movies have been announced. One of the big movies filming now is A Royal Montana Christmas, directed by Peter Benson. As Fiona Gubelmann is an executive producer, it may be safe to predict that she is starring in this movie.
Next, the other rumored Hallmark 2025 Christmas movies include Newport Christmas, with likely leads Ginna Claire Mason and Wes Brown, A Magical Christmas in New York, and Haul Out The Holly 3, presumably Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown again.
How Many Countdown To Christmas Movies In 2025?
Hallmark has promised over 4,000 hours of holiday programming across all channels. Therefore, how many movies will be part of Countdown To Christmas 2025? Currently, the network has not announced that detail. The bulk of 4,000 plus hours of holiday content will certainly be available on Hallmark+. The network has quite a large catalog. As for the new premieres, they should be announcing how many new movies they will premiere sometime in the near future.
