Drew Barrymore Collapses & Hits Floor After TV Guest Kisses Her
Talk show hostess Drew Barrymore is known for being a little handsy with guests. But in a recent episode, some fans think she pushed things right over the edge.
While welcoming the Mid-Century Modern cast, she locked lips with one of the actors. The smooch apparently had quite an impact on Drew since she collapsed on the studio floor immediately after.

Talk Show Hostess Drew Barrymore Kisses Guest & Collapses On Stage
Recently, Drew Barrymore welcomed the Mid-Century Modern cast to her show. Stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham attended the interview to discuss the series, which is billed as a modern LGBTQ+ spin on Golden Girls.
But having three gay men as guests didn’t stop Drew from smooching with one of them.
It isn’t the first time that Matt Bomer and Drew Barrymore kissed on her talk show. Two years after the first smooch, they decided to give it another go.
“I mean, should we kiss?” Bomer asked the talk show hostess. The pair neared each other before connecting in a sensual kiss.
“It’s the only action that I get! And I just ate cacio e pepe,” Drew declared after they ended the kiss with a friendly hug. But that wasn’t where the theatrics ended.
As the two approached the interview area, Drew Barrymore collapsed in a dramatic fashion as a result of the steamy kiss. Matt Bomer helped her to her feet as the other actors joked he may have to give Drew mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
The audience erupted into laughter as Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham watched the ridiculous scene unfold before them.
The Actress Admits To Having A Thing For Gay Men
As of 2025, Drew Barrymore has been married three times and has two children. But for now, she’s romantically unattached. She’s keeping an open mind when it comes to dating, but it seems like there’s a repeating pattern with men she wants to date.
“I’m always barking up the wrong tree and every time I’m attracted to a guy, [he’s] gay!” the talk show hostess joked, adding that she refused to give up gay men.
“Well, you must be doing the Liza Minnelli,” Nathan Lee Graham informed her.
In true Drew Barrymore fashion, she opted to cuddle Matt Bomer during the interview. The two reminisced about working together on an upcoming film project. Although they didn’t reveal many details, the White Collar star confirmed he adored the experience.
“You came and just absolutely crushed,” Bomer said about working with Drew on the set. “This woman is one of the most incredible actresses I’ve ever worked with. I mean, talk about a brilliant improviser!”
