‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Ryan Seacrest Brings New ‘Shake-Up’ To Show
Wheel of Fortune saw a big change last year when Ryan Seacrest took over for hosting duties on the show. Now, he is set to bring another big event to the famous game show. Notably, this addition is well tied with another aspect of Seacrest’s background.
Wheel Of Fortune & Ryan Seacrest Will Launch A Special Addition Next Week
Seacrest has had a prominent career as a presenter and producer. Notably, he’s had hosting duties on American Idol, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and even an annual job hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
More recently, Seacrest took over Pat Sajak’s hosting duties on Wheel of Fortune. He’s been hosting alongside Vanna White since September 2024.
However, as noted by Parade, Seacrest is going to bring two of his jobs together for a special event. Tapping into Seacrest’s iHeartMedia partnership with his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, and his background with music, Wheel of Fortune is launching a special iHeartRadio Week.
According to a press release, this special tournament style week will air from April 7 to Aprill 11. Contestants will have chances to win vacations to music festivals, concerns, and other similar VIP events.
The biggest prize, however, will be for the biggest winners from the Monday through Thursday shows. They will return on Friday and face off with pop stars like Jason Derulo, JoJo, and Andy Grammer.
Fans Have Already Been Sharing Their Reactions To The Event
Bellamie Blackstone, Wheel of Fortune’s executive producer, shared, “It’s been incredible partnering with the iHeartRadio team, and we are grateful to the talented music artists who lent their talents to this week of shows. Bringing Ryan’s world into our game has been an exciting addition to Wheel of Fortune throughout this season.”
During the Monday through Thursday episodes, viewers will also have a chance to win prizes at home. Using the “iHeartRadio Giveaway,” fans could win a trip to Nasville, a VIP experience in New York with Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, and trips to Los Angeles to meet iHeartRadio personality, Mario Lopez, among other prizes.

This will lead up to “Fan Friday.” At this point, fans will have a chance to win a Las Vegas trip and see Janet Jackson in concert.
Wheel of Fortune also notably promoted the event on Instagram. As shared in a post on Instagram, “Without spoiling anything, next week is going to be a BIG week!! Clear your schedules or risk having FOMO.” In the accompanying video, Seacrest asked fans to “guess” what was coming to Wheel of Fortune next week, with White promising chances to win prizes all week.
Fans have already been sharing their reactions to the upcoming event. A few have certainly shared their own excitement over the tournament style promotion. Some comments include:
