‘Unexpected’ Fans Livid Over Kylen & Jason’s Expanded Family

Unexpected Fans Livid Over Kylen & Jason’s Expanded Family
When viewers first met Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi on Unexpected, they were not happy. Jason was controlling and abusive, even alienating Kylen from her family. She had wanted an epidural, but he said that it would drug out their child too much. Meanwhile, when she ended up attempting a water birth, Jason was in the tub with Kylen and vaping away. She was eventually admitted to the hospital, but Jason was thrown out for causing more stress than good. They welcomed a son, Xavier, and by the time the Season 5 tell-all came around, all of the cast wanted Kylen to leave Jason.
She refused, gave an attitude, and the couple exited the stage, not wanting to ever come back. That was fine because viewers had started a petition to get them removed. When the show returned for Season 6, they were gone, but they still lived their lives. Eventually, in 2024, it was revealed that they had welcomed a daughter into the family, which shocked many. How could she still be with Jason after all of the stress and drama he caused? One social media forum decided to do an update on the couple and shared a photo of the family of four. Immediately, it did not sit well.
The Unexpected duo does not share much on social media as they were slammed for sharing clickbait for cash. It is hard to find anything new or different about Kylen Smith or Jason Korpi, but they are still trucking along. When followers saw this, they were scared by the family snap:

Not A Safe Space
Unexpected viewers did not like seeing Jason Korpi and Kylen Smith together. More so, they were not cool with the fact they brought another child into this world:
- I live in the same state as this prick and every time I drive through the town they live in it just feels dark and disgusting
- Ive never wanted to reach through a screen and throat punch someone more than this kid. Ugh!!! I hate that she’s still with him- I hope he grew TF up! Maybe with a lobotomy?!?!

Some blamed Kylen’s parents for enabling and allowing her to stay with him. They felt that they should have done whatever possible to save her from Jason. At the same time, followers fear she won’t survive a relationship with Jason, which is terrifying.
