‘Family Feud’ Fast Money Round Dubbed Worst In History By Fans
Steve Harvey welcomed the winning family to the Fast Money round on Family Feud this week, and what happened was the thing of legends. The two women who had to answer the questions seemed to struggle mightily. Both of them ran out of time before finishing the round, and they had multiple non-answers on the board.
In the end, fans called out the family for the disappointing answers in this round. Here is what happened and how the family finished the Fast Money round.
Carter Family Struggles On Family Feud Fast Money Round
The Carter family of women won the main game. This meant it was time to play the Fast Money round for even bigger winnings. However, things did not go well for the two women they chose to compete in this round. Sandra was the first to go.
Here were their five questions (via YouTube):
- On a scale of 1-10, how likely are you to want to know the sex of your baby before it is born?
- Name something a really cheap hotel room might not have in it.
- Name something people say they have less of the older they get.
- Tell me a U.S. state that gets a lot of tornadoes.
- Name something you might do before every meal.
Sandra was quick to answer the first question (10). However, the second question immediately threw her off, and she didn’t answer. She then said “money” for the third question. She struggled with the fourth question before saying “Mississippi” when the clock hit 4. She luckily said “pray” before the time ran out on the last question (one second left).
Sandra got the following points (27, 0, 7, 2, and 58). This gave her 94 points, so Sonja needed to get 106 points to win the big money. Sonja said “5” and “microwave” for the first two. However, she passed on the third question. Sonja said “California” for the fourth, but time ran out during the fifth.
Steve looked discouraged at the moment. Sonja got the following points (21, 2, 0, 0, 0), giving her 23 points and a total of 116 points for the round. Combined, they missed five answers. This means they won $585 for the round, and as Steve announced this, he had his eyes closed.
Fans Call This The Worst Family Feud Fast Money Round Ever
The fans were not happy after watching this Family Feud fast money round. With answers left on the board like wi-fi for hotels, washing hands before eating, and any Midwest state for tornadoes, it seemed these women froze up and couldn’t pull the correct answers out.

- One fan blasted the women for their answers, writing, “I never saw a family more deserving to lose. I don’t know how they beat the other family.”
- Another said that they would probably do just as bad, saying, “23 points has to be the record of the lowest score one person can get on fast money… Knowing me, I’ll beat that record!”
- Another compared it to past games, writing, “That has to be one of the lowest scores in ff history. it’s without a doubt one of the lowest i’ve ever seen.”
