When it comes to Joy Behar on The View, watchers never know what to expect from her, and it seems, neither did a recent guest on the show. So, what did Joy do this time around to cause a scene on the popular talk show?
The View: Joy Behar Is A Wildcard, And Fans Love Her For It
When you have someone like Joy Behar as a fixture on The View, there is no telling what you will get with her. She is an unpredictable firecracker, and viewers never know what is going to come out of her mouth once the popular talk show kicks off and goes live.
Of course, this is something that endears her to fans, even if she does get in hot water from time to time for the things that she says. Whether you love or hate Joy Behar, she never backs down, and she often digs her heels in, even when it may be a controversial stance. At the end of the day, a lot of people respect her for that, even if they don’t agree with everything she says.
Talk Show Host Welcomes Special Guest On Set
Based on recent scenes from The View, Joy flew off the handle yet again in the way that only she can, and it created some awkward and cringe moments on the set. It turns out, actors Naomi Watts and Bill Murray were on the set to promote their new film, The Friend.
The film features Naomi Watts as a New York City writer who finds her life interrupted when her close friend leaves her with a Great Dane named Apollo. While this disruption in her life creates a lot of turmoil, damage to furniture, and more, she eventually realizes that her new friend may have been exactly what she needed.
It turns out, Naomi Watts and Bill Murray were also joined by their furry co-star whose real name is Bing. Not surprisingly, this brought some excitement to the set, and even Joy Behar got a little too carried away based on what she had to say about this canine leading star.
The View: Joy Behar Points Out That Bing Is Packing
Of course, when it comes to a Great Dane, they are one of the largest dog breeds around, and it goes without saying that they are often large all around, as their body is to scale on account of their enormous size. During this segment of The View, even Joy Behar got a little too carried away, as she was quick to point out: “Have you seen the dog’s area down there? I mean, he needs a jock strap or something.”
Following this, Joy turned to Bill Murray, and the actor said: “I haven’t seen the dog’s area down there, I have no idea what you’re talking about. The dog, he’s a guy. He’s a swinging guy, he’s happy to be here. He’s really enjoying the city.”
The dog even attempted to flee the set several times, swinging away as he went, and it was certainly enough to catch Joy’s attention.
