‘The View’ Joy Behar Makes ‘Erectile Dysfunction’ Accusations
Joy Behar is not one to hold her tongue on The View. When she has something to say, her observations often go unfiltered. That happened in a recent episode where the women were discussing whether it was possible to have a non-romantic relationship between two people. This led to Joy commenting on the man involved.

Joy Behar Talks Non-Romantic Marriages On The View
Whoopi Goldberg started the conversation. She mentioned that a woman sent a letter to an advice column. The letter revealed that the woman’s husband, aged 60, said he wanted to have a non-romantic marriage. He said he wanted to remain married and still loves her. He still wants to live with her and do things as a couple. Whoopi seemed to have no idea how to respond to this.
This moved the conversation to Sunny Hostin. She wanted to know if the man wanted to have sexual or romantic relationships with others. Joy said that wasn’t the case. She pointed out that they had only been married for six years. That is when she made her speculation.
“The guy either has a side piece, or he’s in the closet or something or he’s acting out somehow,” Joy began. “What man turns down sex? very few that I’ve ever met.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin said that the woman is heartbroken about it, but she has power in the situation. Alyssa said the woman should “absolutely walk away.” She said it would be different if they had been married for 50 years and were in their late life. “You’ve got years of good sex ahead of you.”
Sunny added that the man seemed to want his wife to be his roommate. If they are roommates without benefits, Sunny wants to know where the benefits came from. Whoopi said that there were so many answers that she didn’t know where to start.

Whoopi Goldberg said she could say what she thinks is going on during the break. However, she said The View is a daytime talk show and she can’t discuss what she is thinking on the air. However, that didn’t stop Joy from throwing out her ideas.
Sara Haines wondered if he was “asexual,” and Alyssa said she thinks he is in the closet. However, Joy threw in that if he didn’t even want to kiss his wife, it ruins her self-esteem. Joy then said that the man was a “loser” and held her fingers in the “L” position.
Whoopi Goldberg said this could have happened for many reasons, asking if the wife had body odor or halitosis. Then Joy added, “Maybe he has ED and doesn’t want to admit it.” That led to the women all laughing about the situation as the segment ended.
