90s Sitcom Star Dead At 58, Murder Investigation Launched

An actress that had appeared on Married with Children, among other projects, has passed away. Notably, a murder investigation has come out following the news. The actress was 58 at the time of her death.

LASD’s Homicide Division Is Investigated The Married With Children Actress’ Death

According to reports, first responders had been called in on Monday afternoon to the actress’ home in Malibu for a medical emergency. She was then rushed to a local hospital.

The actress was then pronounced dead. She was 58 years old at the time of her passing.

TMZ has identified the actress as Cindyana Santangelo. She was known for being described as “the Latin Marilyn Monroe.” One of her most famous roles was dancer Sierra Madre on the sitcom Married with Children.

The publication claimed that investigators have no evidence of foul play. However, detectives are waiting for the results of the actress’ autopsy before making a final decision.

At this time, the actress’ cause of death is unclear. LASD’s Homicide Division has since launched an investigation into her death.

It was noted that Santangelo recieved cosmetic shots in her home at some time prior to her death. However, it was unclear if this was connected to her passing.

Over the years, Santangelo appeared in a variety of film and television roles. This includes shows like CSI: Miami and ER. She also notably appeared in the film Hollywood Homicide.

A Friend Of The Actress Shared A Lengthy Tribute To Her On Social Media

Santangelo also made a name for herself appearing in a variety of music videos. This includes Jane’s Addiction’s “Stop” and Young MC’s “Bust A Move.”

Since the news of Santangelo’s passing, many figures have been sharing their condolences on social media. In a joint post with the Santangelo’s Instragram account, her close friend Cynthia Banuelos shared a tribute to the actress.

The post shared, “My heart aches as I write this. I’m still in shock and disbelief. How can you be gone???”

“I will feel your presence in every crashing wave, every salty breeze, and every shimmering reflection of the sun on the ocean’s surface. You were my best friend, my wifey, my kindred spirit. The most gorgeous mermaid in human form. Forever drawn to the sea.”

According to Spin, the actress is survived by her husband, Frank Santangelo, with whom she had been married to since 2001. She is also survived by their two sons, Dante and Lucci.
