Jelly Roll Isn’t The First Musician To Get One Of Their First Acting Roles On Fire Country
Fire Country first came out in 2022. The series follows Max Thieriot’s Bode as he seeks redemption by working with the California Conservation Camp Program. Working in his hometown, Bode finds himself reconnecting with figures from his past.
The show has become known for its ways of incorporating guest stars, even ones not known for acting, into its cast. Notably, country music singer and songwriter Kane Brown previously appeared during the first season as a train hopper named Robin. Notably, the character helps Bode evacuate victims following a collision.

For his part, Thieriot previously teased working with new faces during the third season. Speaking with the publication in 2024, he noted, “In a lot of ways, season 3 is so new for me because I’ve been able to act in all these spaces and interact with so many different characters on the show. It was fairly limited before [because of Bode’s incarceration.]”
The actor also shared, “This season is really about Bode trying to accomplish [his legacy as a firefighter] and what the hurdles are that are in his way and what obstacles he might face along the way.” He continued, “There’s also just the dynamics of a lot of different relationships that he’s involved with now that he is outside. There are none of the restrictions of camp or prison; it is just what happens to this guy now that he’s free.”
