Bobby Flay Is Known For A Variety Of Food Network Projects

Flay is a celebrity chef, in addition to food writer and television personality. He notably served as part of the first graduating class of the French Culinary Institute back in 1984.

Over the years, Flay has especially become well known through various Food Network projects, appearing on such programs since the mid-1990s. This includes hosting shows like Boy Meets Grill, BBQ with Bobby Flay, Worst Cooks in America, and Beat Bobby Flay. He’s also served as a judge on similar cooking shows, like The Next Iron Chef.

According to People, Flay is believed to have recently started a relationship with one of his Food Network co-stars: chef and restaurateur Brooke Williamson. Notably, Williamson won Top Chef’s Season 14.

Over the years, Williamson has also appeared on shows like Knife Fight, Guy’s Grocery Games, BBQ Brawl, and Bobby’s Triple Threat. A source told the publication, “They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in. Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”

As the publication noted, a romance did not start between the Food Network co-stars until Williamson separated from her husband, Nick Roberts, two years ago, finalizing their divorce early last year. The two are said to share a son together.

For his part, Flay had been married a few times over the years. This includes his marriages to Debra Ponzek, Kate Connelly, and Stephanie March. Flay and Connelly share a daughter named Sophie.

Notably, Williamson was recently honored earlier this month at Los Angeles’ No Kid Hungry Dinner. Flay notably flew to the event where he surprised Williamson.

The inside source commented, “It was very sweet.” For her part, Williamson shared photos of the event on Instagram. As she wrote in the caption, “Yes, back to back posts cause this was the best night EVER.”

Late last October, Flay also talked about new relationships while appearing on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast series, “Let’s Be Honest.” During the appearance, he was asked if another marriage was “off the table.”

At the time, Flay shared, “If you asked me today, I’d say probably, yes. I don’t know.” He continued, “For me, it hasn’t been the best situation. That said, I don’t feel like I need to do it again. I have an amazing daughter who is 28 years old. I’m not having any more kids as far as I know.”
