Grey’s Anatomy star, Ellen Pompeo has spoken on the “most emotional” scene to film during the show. Ellen has played Meredith Grey for many many seasons of the show. However, during the current season, she has made appearances but is on the show way less than before. She has now revealed one of the hardest scenes to film. There is tons of romance, drama, death, and laughter that is shared within the show. Meredith Grey used to be the center point of the show. It revolved around her and her life. However, it has drifted from being that lately. Now she is barely shown on the screen and only pops in on occasion. However, she is dating Nick and fans love their storyline. Now the show focuses mainly on the new interns and their lives adjusting to hard challenges. Fans cannot wait to see what the rest of the season holds.

Ellen Pompeo Speaks On ‘Most Emotional’ Scene
Ellen Pompeo plays Meredith Grey. She has spoken out about the most emotional scene. She appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and was asked to name the most emotional scene to film off the top of her head. Ellen replied:
“I think Sandra Oh’s last day was really emotional for me. I can speak for myself. I can’t speak for her, but for me it was really emotional because I really like, she was such a loss because she’s so immensely talented, and I really didn’t think the show could go on without her, and I was OK with that. It literally felt like half of the show just leaving.”
Sandra Oh played Cristina Yang on the show. Ellen and Sandra were extremely close and so were their characters. So fans can imagine how hard it was for Sandra to leave the show. Fans were unsure what was going to happen to the series after her exit. However, it went on just fine. Viewers do miss the friendship between Yang and Grey though.
It seems as though Sandra’s last day on the show was the hardest for her. Sandra was Ellen’s other half. Pompeo admitted that she did not know how long the show would go on without her. However, Shonda Rhimes wrote a good storyline without her. Cristina Yang was a fan favorite on the show. It seems that she was a character loved by all of her cast members.
