‘Bold & Beautiful’ Why Are Viewers Turning On Steffy Forrester?
Steffy Forrester has been part of The Bold and the Beautiful for years. However, recent events have found fans turning against the character. These fans have been taking to social media to talk about Steffy in a recent storyline concerning the fate of Forrester Creations.
Steffy Forrester Has Been Part Of The Bold & The Beautiful Since 1999
Steffy Forrester first appeared on the soap back in 1999, which depicted the character’s birth alongside her twin sister. The character has been portrayed by a variety of actresses over the years. Most recently, actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood has been bringing Steffy to light.
Recently on the soap, things got heated as Steffy, Eric, and Ridge took it upon themselves to decide the future of Forrester Creations, following Carter giving it back to the Forresters. Eric and Ridge initially want peace, and to honor promises made to Hope, Carter, and Brooke.
However, Steffy isn’t feeling so merciful. Confronting the three, Steffy makes clear, “Should have seen it long before. Before you decided to betray us. The three of you committed treason. And now the three of us will decide what happens next.”
Steffy’s behavior, however, has been rubbing some fans the wrong way. In particular, Steffy’s treatment of Hope, who found herself in hot water following a misunderstood fall on Finn, has especially become a point of contention for some fans.
As one fan wrote on social media, “Biggest bully! Ridge and Eric just allowing her nasty behavior! I’m sooooo over this show!!! I can’t wait for Shiela to team up with Luna and destroy Steffy!!!”
Some Fans Feel Eric Could Have Prevented The Whole Mess
Taking to the comments, many fans also disliked Eric and Ridge giving Steffy such influence in the company. Similarly, many fans had hoped Carter giving back the company should have led to a happy resolution.
As one fan shared, “Eric should have been the one doing the talking today, not her. Eric should have stopped this nonsense from the beginning and not allowed Hope to be fired for that ridiculous misunderstanding falling on Finn.”
“Then all of this could have been prevented. Steffy was the one bullying and threatening her line being cancelled if Hope stepped out of line.”
Even Fans Who Dislike Hope Think Steffy’s Going Too Far
In particular, many fans especially hoped Hope would get the last laugh against her, though she still had her critics. Even fans who were less than sympathetic towards Hope still had issues with Steffy.
As one fan wrote, “Not that I want Steffy destroyed or anything nor do I agree with the way that they’ve been making hope act but what was the point of the storyline if nobody has learned their lesson here? Steffy is still exceedingly mean. And hope still won’t take any responsibility for her own bad behavior. So, it’s like nobody has grown in this storyline.”
Many of the fans shared these sentiments, feeling that Steffy is going too far with her behavior. Some comments included:
- “I agree. It was so painful to watch. Steffy is something else. I don’t know how she can even stand herself. She is despicable. Ridge and Eric are woosies. Steffy needs to be told to take a seat and shut the hell up.”

- “Why the Heck did Eric & Ridge go back on their word that Hope & Hope for the Future would be saved? Here we go AGAIN with allowing Precious Bratty Steffy to run the company. While they sit around allowing her to berate employees.”
- “This show is so irritating. I have to watch on 4x speed cause I cannot with Steffy.”
- “I wish they would have just left Hope and Thomas alone because I really shipped them until Queen Steffy ruined that relationship too making Hope out to be a user.”

Steffy has twisted her evil ways and ways of looking at things into truths when they are lies. She has caused tremendous troubles, along with her sick brother Thomas, and focused everything on Hope – just about destroying her! Steffy claims Hope For the Future is dead because Hope is a shell of herself – because of all the evil that Hope supposedly does – but it is Steffy’s warped evil view blaming Hope for all the evil that Steffy and Thoms, and now Ridge, have done – and painted Hope as a black soul when Steffy is one of the ultimate black souls there is!!! With all this evil, Steffy kept stealing Liam from Hope, and Steffy also killed her cousin – and don’t say she was defending herself – if Steffy were good, she would have found a way not to kill her cousin! Moreover, Steffy deliberately tried to kill Ivy – her other cousin – by throwing her into a power grid, and throwing Ivy down a flight of stairs!!! Evil incarnate, it seems to me, is the Steffy who lurks among the other characters! Hope’s missteps have been her ways of trying to survive what Steffy and Thomas, and now Ridge, have done, are doing to her! I wish Eric would wake up and not side with those ‘faux Forresters’!!!
