‘Bachelorette’ Jason Tartick Reveals ER Visit, Feared Stroke
Bachelorette star Jason Tartick is still nursing a broken heart after a failed engagement with Kaitlyn Bristowe and a short-lived romance with Kat Stickler. The reality star opened up about a more concerning painful injury that left him fearing he had a stroke.
Jason Tartick Details Painful Injury, Feared He Had Stroke
Jason Tartick was a contestant on Season 14 of The Bachelorette. He hasn’t appeared on another show in Bachelor Nation yet. He shifted his focus to a podcast about the topic of finances. Before reality TV, Jason Tartick was a high-level banker.
But his podcast is about more than just finance. He discusses other aspects of his life. In a recent episode, he opened up about landing in the ER after returning home from an RV road trip. “I have never, ever, I hope to never feel pain like that for that long ever again,” he said about what caused the medical visit.
According to Jason, his back pain was so severe that he was “crawling on all fours” into the ER. “Right now, knees to my toes, it’s, like, still tingly, which is crazy…It’s like I had a stroke or something,” the Bachelorette alum said about the injury.
So, what happened?
Jason Tartick revealed that he was getting an MRI to figure out what was going on with his back. “I’m hoping I don’t have a herniated disc. I’m hoping it’s just a bulge disc,” he said about the cause of the pain, according to Us Weekly.
He wasn’t having a stroke, but the limited movement in his legs made him think he was.

Bachelorette Star Shares Dating Life Update Amid Rumors He’s Dating Kelley Flanagan
Jason Tartick has had a lot of life changes in recent years. He started dating Season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe a few months after she ended an engagement to Shawn Booth. Kaitlyn and Jason dated for two years before he popped the question. They broke up in 2023 after four years together.
He eventually found love again with social media influencer Kat Stickler, but they didn’t last long. Despite the heartbreak, Jason Tartick hasn’t given up on love. He said that the future seems better now that he’s adopted a dog of his own.
“I feel like slowly but surely, some really exciting chapters and next steps are coming,” he said on his podcast. Does that exciting chapter include Bachelor alum Kelley Flanagan? The pair sparked dating rumors after a flirty TikTok.

She was also a guest recently on his podcast, which further flamed the rumors. Bachelor Nation fans flooded the comments with reactions to Jason and Kelley’s chemistry.

“I think, if true, this makes a lot of sense. Think they’d be a good match!”
But it seems that they are just good friends. He addressed his dating life on the podcast episode. “I’m enjoying this whole single life. I’m enjoying it. It’s great, man. There are things about it I’m absolutely loving,” Jason Tartick said about his life right now.
