‘When Calls The Heart’ Chris McNally On What He Thinks Of ‘Very Opinionated’ Hearties

Chris McNally Talks About ‘Very Opinionated’ Hearties In When Calls The Heart Facebook Live Event
Just a couple of days before the When Calls the Heart Season 12 season finale episode “Must Be Gold,” a few of the show’s stars were part of a Facebook Live event. The stars talking about the season finale of the Hallmark series included Chris McNally, Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Jack Wagner, Miranda MacDougall, Viv Leacock, and Natasha Burnett took a series of questions about the recent episodes as well as the possibility of Season 13.
There were a lot of revelations in online interview event. Firstly, who knew that Viv Leacock was the veteran at Chris McNally’s first acting gig? The actor who portrays Joseph Canfield gave the young actor some advice to “talk less.” Now, they are working together on this hit show with a dedicated fan base.
Speaking of fan base, Chris McNally talked about Hearties, and he had plenty to say. “It’s a very, you know, supportive fan group.” He then continued. “It’s also a very opinionated fan group.”
Finally, Chris concluded that he would be “disappointed” if they were anything less. He loves that they are “very, very heartfelt and passionate about the subject.” He added, “But I think that’s great.”
They all very much care about the show and about the characters on the show. And I think it’s nice to be part of something like that.
Chris McNally Joined Hallmark Series In Season 6
Many Hearties may recall that Chris McNally joined When Calls The Heart in Season 6. This was right after Daniel Lissing left the series and McNally and Kevin McGarry were cast as potential love interests for Elizabeth. This love triangle led to divisions in the fan group as well as heated discussions. The fans divided into Team Lucas and Team Nathan.
Therefore, Chris McNally has been a hot-button topic for the show. Although his character lost Elizabeth’s love, he does still have a solid group of devoted fans.
Hearties know that the When Calls The Heart Season 12, Episode 12 is called “Must Be Gold.” This is the season finale episode that premieres on Sunday, March 23, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. This episode will be available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere. Also, “Must Be Gold” will be available the next day on Hallmark+.
