‘Ghost Adventures’ Aaron Goodwin Sues Wife For False Imprisonment

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin is suing his soon-to-be ex-wife after learning she was plotting to have him murdered. He was blindsided by the arrest of his wife Victoria Goodwin. She was arrested for hiring a hitman to take him out while he was filming the hit paranormal show in California. Now, he has filed for divorce and also amended the filing to sue her for damages. What is included in the Nevada filing? Keep reading to get all the details.
Ghost Adventures Star Aaron Goodwin Suing Wife For Damages
Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin has had a rough month. His soon-to-be ex-wife Victoria was arrested on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. She was taken into custody on March 6.
The alleged plot was uncovered when prison guards confiscated the contraband cell phone he was using to communicate with Victoria. The alleged hit was supposed to take place in October 2024 while Aaron was filming Ghost Adventures in California with fellow star Zak Bagans.
Texts found on a convicted murderer’s phone indicated the felon was in touch with a hitman who was tasked to carry out the deed. Grant Amato is serving a life sentence for murdering his family. He had told the hitman Aaron was asleep in the hotel room and asked if it had been completed. For whatever reason the hit was not carried out and it’s unclear whether or not more plans were being made to finish the job.

After Victoria was arrested and held on a $100,000 bond, Aaron filed for divorce. Now, he has amended the filing and included that he is seeking 10k in damages from her as well.
US Weekly gained access to the documents filed and shared them. The added items are for Aaron seeking punitive and exemplary damages totaling more than $10,000 after Victoria was allegedly negligent in her marital actions.

What Did The Legal Filing Say?
Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin age 48 added more to the divorce filing from his wife Victoria age 32. The filing read, “[Victoria’s] conduct was extreme or outrageous with either the intention of or reckless disregard for, causing emotional distress to [Aaron]. [He] suffered severe or extreme emotional distress as the actual or proximate result of [her] conduct.”
Aaron also accused Victoria of assault and false imprisonment. He said she made him “feel apprehension of harmful or offensive behavior.” No specific examples were given.
She allegedly wanted to confine him within boundaries. The filing read, “[Victoria’s] act directly or resulted in such a confinement. [Aaron] was conscious of the confinement or was harmed by it.”
All of the reports also allege that text messages between Victoria and the Florida inmate indicated they were in love. She claims the funds she sent him were supposed to be used for cell phones and were not to have Aaron killed. She denies wanting him dead although text messages revealed she said she wanted to end his existence.

An insider says that the rest of the Ghost Adventures crew is shocked by what has occurred and never knew there were marital issues between Aaron and Victoria.
