On the series, Joe is one of the older Reagan grandchildren. The character, who works as a detective for the New York City Police Department, appeared in the series very well into the final episode.

Blue Bloods aired its series finale this past December. However, fans will soon see Hochman on another show.
According to Variety, Hochman has been cast in a prequel to The Boys, a satirical superhero drama series based on the comic of the same name, called Vought Rising. The series had been ordered at Prime Video back in July 2024.
The prequel series is set in the 1950s and will serve as a “twisted murder mystery.” Other actors attached to the project include Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who will reprise characters they’ve played on The Boys. This includes Soldier Boy and Stormfront, during a time when she went by Clara Vought, respectively.
As noted by Closer Weekly, Elizabeth Posey was also attached the project. That said, not much is known about Hochman’s character for the series. The show will start production later this year.
Blue Bloods Is Also Expected To Live On Through A Spin-Off, Boston Blue
The Boys creator Eric Kripke and Vought Rising showrunner Paul Grellong also recently released a statement on the project. They shared, “We are excited to bring you the next deranged series from the world of The Boys.”
The statement continued, “We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.” In addition, the story will focus on “the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a supe known to fans as Stormfront.”
