‘The Kardashians’ Kris Jenner Caught Buying Knockoffs

Kris Jenner Caught Buying Knockoffs
It is no secret that everything Kris Jenner does, she goes over the top. The Kardashians’ famed momager spares no expense for birthday parties, lavish holidays, and everything in between. This is what makes her feel alive and she thrives on the excess. Her kids are no different as their children’s birthday parties are events that require party planners and more. However, it appears that Kris may have ditched her expensive tastes for some knockoff buys. She is not the kind who would seem to want anything fake in her presence or to be caught gifting something of that kind. Yet, she was just called out for buying fake Chanel by her daughter, Kourtney Kardashian.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris is prepping for her mother, MJ’s 90th birthday. She has opted to give out Chanel scarves as party favors for all of the guests. That is when Kourtney questions her mom over gifting fake Chanel back in the day. She notes how, one Christmas, Kris apparently gave the kids Chanel watches. However, they were not real or so Kourt was led to believe. Kourtney goes on to retail her mother with the story of these holiday watches:
“You said that they were stolen off of a truck. Kathie Lee Gifford told you that they were hot off a truck and that they were real.”

After Kourtney reminds Kris Jenner of this incident, she has a confessional where she further elaborated on her mom’s fake gifts:
“Year one of our show, my mom gave us all these Chanel — ‘Chanel’ — watches for Christmas. And they just slowly started chipping and the diamonds would fall out and we were like, ‘Mom, these watches, if these are real, that’s crazy.’ Then she’s like, ‘I bought them from a truck.”
Obviously, anything can happen, even to luxury jewelry, especially over time. Yet, this seemed a tad fishy to Kourtney and her siblings. More so, it was in the early years when she was working closely with Kim Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner. The rest of the KarJenners had yet to blow up.
Does Kris Cop To It?
After Kourtney Kardashian outed Kris Jenner, was the momager ready to admit her mistake? Or, did she perpetuate the lie that they were real Chanel watches? She did her own confessional where she claimed she could not remember if they were real or fake. Finally, she pleaded the fifth on the situation and left it at that. Kris is currently worth around $170 million so fake is not in her vocabulary. Of course, The Kardashians fans could not get enough of the special episode that included MJ’s milestone birthday:
