Joel Pennington is the founder of Blackdot. This is an automatic tattooing device. It is essentially like a professional stick-and-poke. Joel says that this machine gives precision and the ability to do intricate tattoos that could not even be done by hand. This machine is not for sale, so unfortunately you cannot buy it. However, Joel has a studio in Austin that has a machine in the building giving tattoos. He also plans on opening several more studios in big cities like New York, Las Vegas, Miami, etc. Joel says the machine can give such intricate tattoos that it is the new machine for the future. Especially with the new generations loving small intricate tattoo designs. Who would want to wait in line when you can just go in and get it done from a machine?
It seems that Joel Pennington plans to open several shops with the tattoo machine in it. He currently has one in Austin Texas. However, Joel is going to be trying to get a deal on Shark Tank tonight. This will more than likely give him the funds he needs to open more studios and upgrade his machines. It seems to be working out for him as of now.
