‘Shark Tank’ How To Buy BAM Plant-Based Milk

This week on Shark Tank, viewers will learn more about the importance of sustainable agriculture and making healthier food choices too.
In a world where alternatives to cow milk have skyrocketed in popularity, entrepreneur Paige Hansen wanted to make buckwheat an option. Years ago, Hansen was diagnosed with a milk allergy, leaving her looking for alternatives. While almond milk and oat milk are readily available, she decided to go in a different direction.
Learn more about BAM, Paige Hansen’s buckwheat-based milk, and see where to purchase the product.
Shark Tank Features Paige Hansen & Her Buckwheat Milk Product, BAM
Paige Hansen has always had a passion for clean, healthy food. On her blog, she admits she drew inspiration from Dan Barber’s book, The Third Plate. The book explores the story of Klass Martens, a New York-based farmer who switched to organic farming materials in the 1990s. The story strongly resonated with Hansen and she knew she wanted to make a change too.
After years of hard work, she finally launched BAM Buckwheat Milk in 2023. BAM stands for “Because Agriculture Matters,” shedding light on the industry that feeds the world. Hansen also created the product with goals of promoting health, wellness, and sustainable agriculture practices.
The product made appearances on local grocery shelves until Hansen decided to take things to the next level. She knew her product would excel on Shark Tank.

The road to crafting a new buckwheat-based milk product certainly wasn’t easy. Hansen teamed up with brilliant minds including food scientists and farmers to perfect the formula. The product proudly boasts that it’s free from artificial additives, gums, oils, and several other elements that people hope to avoid.
In an age where consumers are increasingly concerned about food ingredients, BAM seems like the perfect solution for milk.
Where Can Shoppers Buy BAM?
For a brief time, BAM occupied shelves in select Whole Foods stores. But since then, it’s noticeably disappeared leaving fans scratching their heads.
Sadly, it doesn’t seem that BAM is widely available for purchase right now. On Paige Hansen’s blog, she discussed pulling the product from retail shelves to improve both the product and operations. It also doesn’t appear to be available for purchase via the company’s website either.
When the buckwheat milk product was available, it came in three flavors: original, vanilla, and extra creamy.
Hopefully after Hansen’s Shark Tank appearance, she receives the capital she needs to truly improve her product and get it back on shelves. Interested shoppers can follow her website and Instagram page to keep up with the latest BAM news and updates.
Do you think BAM will secure funding from the sharks tonight? Or will Paige Hansen leave disappointed? Leave your own thoughts in the comments.
