Hallmark Announces New Christmas Mini-Series Starring Mae Whitman, Jane Seymour, Mary McDonnell
Hallmark has finally made a first announcement for their 2025 Christmas season and it is a limited-series. This is a limited series called The Twelve Days Of Christmas. This series stars Mae Whitman, Mary McDonnell, and Jane Seymour. This series is based on the Jenni Bayliss novel of the same name promises to be a feel-good, romantic comedy.

Hallmark Announces Limited Series The Twelve Dates Of Christmas
On Thursday, Deadline announced that Hallmark has started production on the limited series The Twelve Dates Of Christmas. Besides Mae Whitman, Mary McDonnell, and Jane Seymour, Julian Morris, Toby Sademan, and Nathaniel Parker, as well as Lucy Eaton also star.
What is this limited series about? Kate (Whitman) is a Saville Row textile pattern designer. Kate lives in the bucolic village of Blexford, England. Her neighbor is her dad, Mac (Parker). Mac “is long-divorced from Kate’s mother Delilah (MacDonnell), a globetrotting American always on an adventure.”
When Kate is not crafting her exquisite textile designs, she is hanging out with Mac, and taking care of her dad. As for Mac, his life has been sitting back in a reclining chair ever since he was in a motorcycle accident.
Therefore, life is pretty predictable.
However, Laura (Eaton), Kate’s best pal has signed Kate up for The 12 Dates Of Christmas. This is a television matchmaking show with a holiday twist. Each date celebrates the holiday with “carefully, curated, yuletide dating experiences.” Laura wants Kate to get out of her rut. Kate doesn’t want to do this but Laura and “longtime best friend Callum” (Morris) talk her into doing this.
Immediately, Kate is caught up in the Christmas dating spirit when she meets a guy (Sandeman) “who reinvigorates her zest for life.” Meanwhile, Mac has been opening up his world too. He meets widow Evelyn (Seymour) who gets him to open up his world and heart.
But, Kate’s life suddenly becomes more complicated when Delilah shows up. Suddenly Kate and Mac have to contend with her during the holiday season. “As Kate wends her way through the 12 dates, she takes a circuitous route to romance while also making some important discoveries about herself.”
