‘Bachelorette’ Michelle Young Shares Exciting Wedding Update
Bachelorette Michelle Young was an immediate fan favorite on Season 25 of The Bachelor. She made it to the final two and really thought she found love with Matt James. But he sent her home in a heartbreaking goodbye that had viewers in tears.
She went on to star on Season 18 of The Bachelorette. The school teacher got engaged to Nayte Olukoya. They made plans for a future together after ABC gifted them $200,000 to put toward a house. The relationship ended after just six months, but Michelle Young never gave up on love. She found it in an unexpected place and just shared an exciting update on her upcoming wedding. Bachelorette Alum Found Love Again After Failed Engagement
Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya ended their engagement in June 2022. It wasn’t until October 2023 that she began hinting on social media that she was dating someone new. She went Instagram official with Jack Leius that same month.
The couple met through mutual friends. Their relationship advanced quickly. They moved in together after just a few months of dating. He popped the question in late 2024
Michelle Young Shares Exciting Wedding Update
Michelle Young and her fiance clearly aren’t planning for a long engagement. She took to Instagram this week to share an exciting update about wedding planning. By this time next year, she’ll no longer be a bachelorette.
“I am screaming because our save-the-dates have officially come in… and of course I’m gonna show you exactly what we got,” she wrote in an Instagram post. The accompanying video showed fans a glimpse at the save-the-dates. Michelle Young said that her aesthetic was “simple and timeless” for the invites.
The invites were made in collaboration with Minted Weddings. Michelle said that the date and location were included inside the invite, along with a funny note to cancel any other plans for that day.
While those who received invites were clued into the date, Michelle Young kept that out of the video. She did, however, reveal that the wedding is sometime this summer in Minnesota, where she and her fiance are both from and currently live.

Fans Couldn’t Be Happier For Her
Michelle Young’s journey to the alter was a long one with several heartbreaking false starts. But it seems she’s finally met the one in Jack Leius and Bachelor Nation fans couldn’t be happier for her. They showed their love in the comments on her post.
