‘The Challenge’ Huge Spoilers: Who Is Sent Home This Week?

The Challenge just finished Season 40, but rumors have already come out of its 41st season. Spoilers have already been coming out saying who is competing and even who is getting eliminated. Recently, another familiar face is said to be going home.
The Challenge Is Said To Already Be Filming Season 41 In Chile
On the MTV series, alumni from other reality show alumni taking part in various extreme competitions. Notably, T. J. Lavin serves as the series’ host.
The Challenge recently released its 40th season, subtitled “Battle of the Eras.” As the title reflected, this season would include players representing the four “eras” of The Challenge.

This season made its debut in August 14, 2024, finishing its run on January 22, 2025. Jenny West, Jordan Wiseley, and Rachel Robinson served as the season’s winners.
As previously reported, it is believed that The Challenge is already filming its 41st season. At the time, according to Monsters & Critics, this season was said to be filming in Chile, while Season 40 used Vietnam and the Philippines for locations. Another difference was that, while Season 40 focused on seasoned vets of The Challenge, the new season was divided between vets and rookies.
A “@mtvchallengeinsider” spoiler on social media previously hinted at who ended up facing early eliminations. At the time, it was reported that Nia Moore, Adrienne Naylor, and Rogan O’Connor were being sent home.
However, as previously reported, the spoilers concerning Adrienne Naylor proved to be untrue. Instead, Blue Kim was eliminated instead. It was later claimed that Cara Maria Soerbello also faced an early elimination.
A Season 40 Contestant Was Recently Said To Be A Season 41 Elimination
Recently, another trailer has teased a more recent elimination: Derek Chavez. Also known as Xavier Derek Chavez, he notably appeared on The Real World: Cancun. He notably served as a finalist for “All Stars 4” and, most recently, “Battle of the Eras.”
Chavez originally made his debut on The Challenge with “Cutthroat.” He also appeared on 2012’s “Battle of the Seasons,” as well as “Rivals II” and “All Stars 2.”

Taking to the comments, many fans shared their reactions of Chavez getting eliminated. Comments appeared to be split between Chavez’s fans and detractors.
A few also pointed out that things seem to be working in the rookies’ favor, at least so far. Some comments included:

- “He’s impressive competitively, but he’s just as boring as he was a decade ago….he’s a good person, which makes for bad television sadly.”
- “Thank goodness he’s gone!!! I give props to the person who took down the drama king!”
- “Surprised but not at the same time. Eliminations are not his thing, which is why you uses friendships to get him too the end.”
- “Can’t tell if more vets going home or rookies.”
- “The rookies going ‘This CT guy is 44, he’s smoking cigs, he can’t keep up with me in a Final.’”
- “The rookies are doing the Lord’s work.”
