Sean “Diddy” Combs made a recent appearance during a Friday court hearing as the mogul faced the latest version of allegations against him. Notably, however, Combs was described as looking not like himself during the hearing. This also comes out as new claims were made against the music mogul.

The Mogul’s Family Notably Appeared During The Hearing To Support Him

Combs has been facing legal issues since his indictment this past September. The mogul has been spending his time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits his upcoming trial.

Diddy’s legal team had attempted to see him released on house arrest since his original arrest. However, these attempts were put to rest after at least three bail proposals were rejected by a judge.

According to Fox News, Diddy appeared at a new court hearing this past Friday. While there, a new indictment increased “the timeline of his alleged sex-trafficking and racketeering behavior.” In addition, two victims were also added.

The rapper was also accused of making employees work long hours under physical or “reputational” threats. Claims were also made that an employee was forced to have a “sexual encounter” with the musician.

During the hearing, Diddy had a noticeable change in appearance. The mogul’s hair was noticeably grayer. He could also be seen wearing a tan jumpsuit.

While there, Combs’ family was at the scene to support him. This included his mother and four of his children. Towards the end of the hearing, Diddy could be seen turning to his family and flowing them a two-handed kiss.

Diddy’s Upcoming Trial Was Previously Scheduled For May 5

In addition, the prosecution and Diddy’s legal team were in court to settle various issues ahead of the trial. Judge Arun Subramanian finalized a timeline for the trial’s start. Questionnaires were also to be given to possible jurors towards the end of April.

Footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was also discussed during the trial. The prosecution believed this was critical evidence.

However, Diddy’s legal team said the video was misleading, claiming it had been edited. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, claimed, “From the defense standpoint, it’s a misleading piece of evidence, a deceptive piece of evidence, a piece of evidence that has been changed.”

These claims including speeding up the video. According to the publication, CNN, who originally shared the video, denied it had been edited.

A spokesperson was quoted as saying, “CNN never altered the video and did not destroy the original copy of the footage, which was retained by the source.” They continued, “CNN aired the story about the video several months before Combs was arrested.”

Previously, Judge Subramanian scheduled Diddy’s upcoming trial for May 5. The prosecution believes the proceeding to take around six weeks. For their part, Diddy’s legal team reportedly expects things to play out over around two weeks.
