‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Shares Private Run-Ins With Mark’s Ex-Girlfriends
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been married since the 1990s. They met while both starring on All My Children and are about to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2026. However, Kelly recently shared a story about having run-ins with some of Mark’s exes.
Here is what Kelly had to say about the times she crossed paths with women who previously dated her husband.
Kelly Ripa Explains Confrontations With Husband’s Exes
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been married for 29 years this year. They have three grown children and are now celebrating an empty nest. However, the two dated other people before marrying, although that might seem like a lifetime ago. On an episode of Live this week, Kelly talked about running into Mark’s exes.
Kelly actually said she has run into quite a few of Mark’s exes. Mark Consuelos joked that people will often “fudge” the numbers of their previous relationships when with a new partner. He said it is no different than playing down how much alcohol they drink when talking to a doctor.
“When you roll up to the drive-thru in Florida and the woman handing you your lunch says, ‘I used to date your husband,’ you don’t need to know anything else,” Kelly joked after this. Mark laughed at the comment and admitted that “Tampa’s a very loving city.”
That is when Kelly told a story about meeting another one of Mark’s exes.
Kelly Ripa Explains Meeting Mark Consuelos’s Ex In New Jersey
According to Kelly, she was with Mark at a wrestling tournament in New Jersey. Their youngest son, Joaquin, is an accomplished wrestler, and they were there to watch him compete. Mark said they were only a short distance from where Kelly used to live, so he was sure they would run into one of her exes.
“[Mark’s] like, ‘Oh, we’re in your neck of the woods. I wonder how many of your ex-boyfriends are going to be there? I wonder how many of your ex-boyfriends were going to meet; I wonder how many of your ex-boyfriends we’re going to interact with,’” Kelly said. He joked that they will see when she said “probably zero.”
They didn’t run into any of Kelly’s exes at the tournament. However, Mark was shocked when they ran into one of his. Kelly said that “within three seconds,” one of Mark’s ex-girlfriends was there with her kids. “Her sons were good wrestlers, too! They are, they’re great,” Mark said. Ripa finished by saying, “So I rest my case. The people rest!” (via Parade).
Of course, neither of them misses their exes at all. At the I in 2024, Mark couldn’t help but praise his wife, saying she looks nice every day, whether she is on TV or not. They also seem to love working together, and they say they refuse to bring their work home with them, often not even remembering who they interviewed that day.
