A Familiar Face Is Back On ‘NCIS’ Season 22, Episode 15 ‘Moonlit’
NCIS is taking a long Season 22 hiatus. However, CBS has shared some photos from Episode 15, the next premiere. This episode is called “Moonlit.” This episode promises more on Lily, as well as the return of Zane Holtz as Special Agent Sawyer.

What Is NCIS Season 22, Episode 15 About?
The next NCIS Season 22, Episode 15 “Moonlit,” is the next episode. What is this new episode about? According to TV Insider, “After a Navy Lieutenant’s death reveals ties to Special Agent Sawyer, Torres and Knight uncover a murder linked to a wealthy family. Meanwhile, Parker discovers a shocking connection between his mother’s death and Lily.”
Firstly, Zane Holtz is back as Special Agent Sawyer. Viewers know him as a special guest star in Seasons 18, 19, and 20. He is a fan-favorite that is always welcome back to the CBS military procedural.
However, the story of Lily also promises more backstory that showrunner Steven D. Binder shared a few months ago. Calling it Alden Parker’s “messed up history,” it sounds like there will be a of layers to peel. In Parker’s case, it could be some family history lore that came from his father.
We all have family lore that gets passed down to us by our elders. And what is going to trigger Parker is he’s going to dig into some family lore and find out it’s not what he had been told, that he has a memory of events, and then there were the events that his father told him, and then there are the events that actually happened. We’re going to see Parker’s father again. Parker’s going to get a chance to go question his father about this and realize that what his life – or some life history that he thought was real is not actually his history.
There is nothing that the NCIS writers love to do more than peel the layers of a complicated history!

The premiere of NCIS Season 22, Episode 15 “Moonlit” is on Monday, March 24, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on CBS. This episode and all the previous ones are available to stream on Paramount+.
