Roger Howarth Even Started On General Hospital As A Character From Another Soap

Roger Howarth has had quite the career in soaps. After briefly appearing on the soaps Loving and Guiding Light, he was cast as Todd Manning on One Life to Live. Considered one of his most definitive characters, he continued in the role off and on in the ensuing years.

Throughout the 2000s, Howarth appeared on As the World Turns as Paul Ryan. The following decade, he would make his debut on General Hospital.

Famously, Howarth would lend his face to a variety of characters on the soap, including a familiar face. Initially, he crossed over as One Life to Live‘s Todd Manning.

However, from 2013 to 2021, Howarth took on the role of Franco Baldwin, notably taking on the role from James Franco. In 2021, he would then take on the role of Austin Gatlin-Holt.

Fans Will Get A Chance To Meet The Star In New Jersey

As many of his characters were killed off, it’s unlikely Howarth will make a return to Port Charles anytime soon. Of course, anything can happen on a soap.

After all, Howarth has played three different characters already. That said, fans will soon get a chance to the man behind all of these characters.

And I always enjoy doing that.”
