This was a big week on Wheel of Fortune. Not one, but two contestants won a Mini Cooper in the Bonus Puzzle round. One of those players was even considered one of the best ever to play the game, thanks to their skills at solving the puzzles. However, the other winner was someone that fans called the “most annoying ever” thanks to his “bizarre” behavior.

Here is what you need to know about this contestant on the popular game show.

Eccentric Wheel Of Fortune Winner Has Fans Complaining

On Monday’s Wheel of Fortune episode, a “house husband” named P.J. Wilder was one of the competitors on the show. He was competing against Debbie Thompson and Caitlin McGowan and ended up winning the main game and moving on to the Bonus Round.

It seems like Wheel fans have been exceedingly judgmental lately. They have been making fun of players for making mistakes and even threw out some insults at Vanna White recently. This week, they attacked P.J. because of how he looked and his weird mannerisms. Despite P.J.’s success, fans still wanted to make fun of him.

P.J. was a tall man with a big bushy mustache. He said in his introduction that he was an avid reader and his favorite author was Agatha Christie. He said that he fashioned his mustache after the Agatha Christie mystery detective Hercule Poirot. It was fun, but many fans didn’t like it.

When P.J. won the Mini Cooper in the Bonus Puzzle, he was overjoyed. He even asked Ryan Seacrest to pinch him to prove it was real and then celebrated in his new car with his family looking on. It was a sweet moment and one that fans chose to attack rather than celebrate.

Fans Mock Wheel Of Fortune Winner After Show

As is the case, it didn’t take fans long to head over to social media sites and just start making fun of the Wheel of Fortune winner. They mocked his appearance, his personality, and anything else they could find just to be mean.

Here is a sample of what fans had to say about P.J. Wilder:

  • “He’s like that one kid in middle school… And high school…and college…and that you have to work with….”
  • “Super awkward when he won the car too and he didn’t even acknowledge his wife who was just jumping up and down next to him.”
  • “Is he the most obnoxious contestant ever? Total bull in the china shop actions by him throughout the episode and he was just able to do what he wanted.”
  • “Caitlin deserves to be invited back after having that crazy guy next to her.”

It was clear by the comments that he didn’t have many fans, although there were some who said he was just having fun in his time on TV.

What are your thoughts about P.J. Wilder and his time on Wheel of Fortune? Was he as annoying as some think, or was he not that bad? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
