‘NCIS’ Teases Shocking Return, Fans Going To ‘Lose Their Sh*t’

NCIS has already had many surprises this season. However, according to cast member Brian Dietzen (Dr. Jimmy Palmer), things are about to get even better. In the last episode, the series brought in a guest star in Erinn Hayes to play Wendy Hill. While this was exciting for Dietzen, he said the next guest would be even bigger.

Dietzen went on to say that it would cause fans to “lose their sh*t.” Here is what he said and what you need to know about the upcoming episode.

Brian Dietzen Promises Shocking Return For NCIS

While Erinn Hayes was a nice guest star for NCIS, she was not someone many fans might have known about. This was a small surprise, but Brian Dietzen said an upcoming guest was a much bigger deal. He said it is someone from the show’s past and that “it’s going to be fantastic” (via TV Insider).

In the interview, Dietzen said fans could expect this guest soon. “I just worked with one, and I’m not allowed to tell you, but I’ll tell you it’s someone from NCIS‘s past, and it’s going to be fantastic, and I think people are really going to lose their s**t,” he said.

Jimmy did say that he wouldn’t be appearing on the spinoff series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. “If Jimmy were able to pop up on the screen there, I would love for it to happen, but I’m afraid to say it’s not going to happen in their first season,” he explained.

Who Is This Mysterious NCIS Guest Star?

There aren’t many characters that would made fans “lost their sh*t” if they returned. The two that could be most obvious are Tony DiNozza (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote De Pablo). This is because their spinoff show is coming this summer to streaming.

That wouldn’t be as much of a surprise since their show is public knowledge. However, for mainline NCIS fans, the two never got their final scenes together on the main show, and it might be nice to see it there. That said, it could slightly ruin the anticipation for their upcoming show.

That leaves two people that fans have been clamoring to see more of. They are also two people who couldn’t appear together on the show. The first is Mark Harmon as Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Fans sorely miss him, and while he narrates NCIS: Origins, it would be great to see him again.

However, there is one person who legitimately could make fans “lose their sh*t.” Pauley Perrette left NCIS after several onset problems with Harmon. Now that Harmon is not a cast member, could Pauley return as Abby Sciuto again? That is one guest whose return would shock all fans.

Who do you think is returning to NCIS? Who would you choose if you could have one former main character return, even just for one appearance? Let us know your picks in the comments below.
