Tyler Cameron Confirmed New Relationship In Late 2024
Bachelor Nation fans fell in love with Tyler Cameron when he was a contestant on Season 15 of The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, Hannah Brown didn’t. Or she loved Jed Wyatt a little more. She picked him in the end over Tyler.
Many fans still want to see Tyler Cameron as The Bachelor but it doesn’t seem likely to happen. He turned down the role several times and now he’s in a committed relationship with someone who he met outside of reality TV.
After months of speculation and teasing that he was off the market, the Special Forces Season 2 winner finally went Instagram official with Tate Madden in September 2024. He shared a video on Instagram of them dancing with the caption, “Found a cute girl to dance with…. and then she tried to knock me out…..”
Which Bachelorette Alum Set Them Up
So, how did they meet? The way most people meet their significant others – through work. The former Bachelorette star returned home to Florida during the COVID pandemic and decided to stay in the Sunshine State after his mother’s passing. Tate Madden was involved in filming Tyler Cameron’s Amazon series Going Home with Tyler Cameron.
He shared more insight into how they met with E! News. “It was always platonic and cool, and she was always the life of the party and fun. Everyone gravitates toward her. She’s just a ball of fun energy, and everyone enjoys being around her.”

But he needed a push to go from friends to lovers. That push came from Jason Tartick, a contestant from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. Jason and Tyler formed a strong friendship, like many alums from the show do. Tyler told E! News that Jason said he saw something between Tyler and Tate during filming for the Amazon show.
That led to Tyler and Tate’s first date on her 30th birthday in September 2023. “That was our first time trying to be romantic,” he confessed.
They’re Building A Future Together
After a very public breakup and several public romances, it’s no surprise that Tyler Cameron waited a year before introducing Tate to the public eye. But now they aren’t shy about showing off their love.

Tyler admitted during an Amazon Live in September 2024 that the couple live together in Florida. He said at the time that they were remodeling their home. He recently shared an inside look at the kitchen remodel.
After years of being a model and reality TV star, Tyler Cameron pivoted to something he truly loves: renovation. He’s a general contractor and remodeled several homes for the Amazon series.
