Today star Al Roker has some exciting news to share with his fans.
Fans have adored the weather presenter for decades and love it when he shares snippets of his family life with the public. Now, it seems that the Roker family is about to grow again.

Al Roker’s Daughter Leila Shares A Massive Life Update
As much as Al Roker loves being part of the Today cast, family will always come first. His daughter Leila has some exciting news to share, meaning the Roker family is getting a little bit bigger.
On Instagram, the 26-year-old publicly announced her engagement.
“8 years ago, I moved to Paris 🇫🇷, 7 years ago I met my person and best friend 💖, and 2 days ago, that person took me on the most amazing surprise trip to Venice 🇮🇹 to ask me to spend the rest of our lives together 💍” Leila posted on Instagram. She attached several photos of the special moment when her fiance, Sylvain Gricourt, got down on one knee.
Leila’s mother, journalist Deborah Roberts, expressed immediate excitement for the pair.

The Today Anchor Couldn’t Be Happier For His Daughter
Although Leila Roker lives in Paris, her parents love visiting whenever possible. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Al Roker admitted to PEOPLE that covering the games was also an excuse to spend time with his daughter.
“That is the bonus,” the NBC anchor shared. “I mean, that’s the gold medal because she’s lived here almost seven years and she speaks French fluently and so we love Paris to begin with. So it’s a great reason to come.”
Shortly after Leila announced the big news, Al Roker posted on his own page.
“Well, it is now official. @gricourt.thegreat has proposed to my little girl, @leilaroker in the romantic city of Venice. We could not be happier, and look forward to planning for these two wonderful young folks coming together,” Roker shared, cheering on his daughter and her new fiance.
The last photo reveals Leila’s stunning engagement ring, a solitaire pair shaped diamond on a gold band.
