Price is Right fans are questioning the show after many deemed one of the latest episodes as weird. There are some fans who even think that producers are planting contestants. Why is everyone thinking this? Keep reading to find out all the details.

Price Is Right Fans Think Some Contestants Are Planted

Fans of the Price is Right are questioning recent episodes of the popular game show. There are certain things occurring during games that are sitting right with viewers.

Many fans went to Reddit to discuss their feelings about the show and how it’s played out recently. It’s being pointed out that lately contestants called to “come on down” are not even loyal viewers of the show. In fact, many of these fans are calling the contestants lazy. Why is that?

Fans feel that contestants are relying too much on audience participation and using them more often than they should. Some are even questioning if producers have planted people on the show for entertainment. Could the show really be hiring some actors to participate?

All of this came to light when the OG poster on Reddit asked how they choose which contestants they call to play the game. The poster gave some examples saying that one contestant stated they didn’t know the price of any of the things. Another contestant didn’t know they were supposed to spin the wheel. Still, another landed on 95 when spinning the big wheel and had no idea what it meant.

What Are Some Of The Things Fans Are Saying?

There are a lot of varying opinions about recent gameplay and how little knowledge of the show some contestants seem to have. One fan pointed out that it is a lot harder for contestants in the studio than just sitting at home.

What else are fans saying? Here are some of their comments:

  • As I watched, I was like “Georgia is an actress – calling it.” And not a very good one at that, since it’s rare that I’m not buying it. But there were just too many red flags.
  • I’ve noticed more than usual inexplicable guesses last couple of weeks too. Try to be charitable and attribute it to nerves but also get frustrated that many contestants seem too audience dependent.
  • Contestant – *spins a 95* “wHAT dOES tHAT mEAN?” 🤦‍♂️
  • The contestants are lazy, way too dependent on the audience… smh, its worse lately… they should at least watch the show and know some prices.. that goes for just everyday shopping.. are these people plants for entertainment?

Another fan noted that everyone should cut them some slack. They shared that they previously attended a taping of the show and it was very loud and hard to hear in the studio.

Overall, there is no proof that any of the contestants are planted by producers. Do you think more contestants are relying on their companion in the audience for answers? Were you shocked about the big wheel moment and not knowing what it meant?
