Rachel Lindsay, Bryan Abasolo Finally Settle Divorce
Bryan Abasolo was a contestant on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette. He made it all the way to the end and proposed in Spain during the season’s final rose ceremony. They married in 2019, two years after their engagement.
Unlike a lot of famous couples, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo kept their marriage mainly private. That’s why it came as a complete shock when Bryan filed for divorce in early January 2024 after five years of marriage. Months of battling it out in court revealed that the couple’s marriage was in trouble for a while leading up to the divorce.
The two never had children, so it should have been easy to come to a divorce agreement. However, the former couple fought over spousal support and other money issues. A judge eventually ordered the Bachelorette star to pay her estranged husband 13K a month in spousal support.
The tense divorce was finally resolved in January 2025, a year after Bryan Abasolo initially filed to end the marriage. Rachel Lindsay paid her ex $500,000 in the settlement. They each got to keep a home and vehicle from their marriage.
Rachel Lindsay expressed regret over not signing a prenup before the marriage. However, she didn’t swear off love completely.
Sources Confirm Bachelorette Star’s New Romance
Rumors have circulated online for months that Rachel Lindsay is dating again. She was first linked to country singer Willie Jones in late 2024. They were spotted hanging out together at the iHeart’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, California.
According to Page Six, the rumored couple were seen together again last week at the Project Angel Food Angel Art benefit. The former Bachelorette star walked the red carpet solo but reportedly was seen with the singer during the event.
Rachel Lindsay addressed the divorce on the red carpet. “It’s really great to be on the other side of things, and just sort of out and about,” she said about the divorce being finalized.
She added that the “crazy big” amount of money she had to pay her ex didn’t matter because now she has “peace of mind” and can move on.
The reality star didn’t directly address rumors she’s dating Willie Jones. However, sources close to Rachel Lindsay confirmed the news to Page Six.
