Did Kim Kardashian want her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson back two and a half years after they parted ways? It still remains somewhat of a mystery as to why they split after nine months. Yet, is there a chance of reconciliation? Keep reading for more details on the possible coupling.

Kim Kardashian Wanted Pete Davidson Back

When Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson did their first skit together on SNL, something clicked between the two of them. Eventually, their romance blossomed and he seemed to level her out in many ways. She would note how, if she fell asleep before doing her skin routine, he would put her creams on her face. Additionally, she loved an ice cream that she felt she could only get on the East Coast. He had it flown in for her and even made a brief appearance on The Kardashians. This looked like it could be a forever thing until they broke up after nine months.

The reason for their split is still unclear as they never gave a definitive answer. It seemed that they had conflicting schedules, lived on different coasts, and possibly lost that lust. More so, Pete’s age may have played a factor as he was 13 years younger than Kim. Either way, they went about their lives and found new romances with other people. However, the two recently reconnected at the SNL 50th Anniversary celebration where Kim was a guest star. Some wondered if they may have looked to rekindle the flame but it seems she lost her chance.

According to OK! Magazine, Kim Kardashian was interested in having some hook-up fun with Pete Davidson after they split. She allegedly tried to let him know how she felt but, unfortunately for Kim, it did not work. An insider had this to say about her attempt:

“Kim and Pete stayed in touch for a while after their break-up but then he drifted away. She tried to send out the signal that she wanted to hook-up but he didn’t bite, and she’s always felt a bit let down about that.”

So, it seems she was not really ready to let Pete go but that did not work for him. He was over it and had moved on.

The Aftermath

On The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian made it clear that she is not great when it comes to breaking up. However, she did shed some insight into her split with Pete Davidson and it appeared to be mutual:

“We just had talks and talks, we had been talking about it. So it was both of us just communicating really well about it. It’s obviously sad.”

There was also supposedly a lot of stress put on the romance due to Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West. Yet, when it came time for her to appear on the SNL 50th special, Kim wanted to look her best in case she saw Pete. Her goal was to find the perfect outfit to accent her curves and chest, things Pete always was fond of. She does claim that she is no longer interested in a romantic relationship with him but still wanted to leave a good impression.
