‘My 600-Lb Life’ How’s Season 10 Lucas Higdon?
My 600-Lb Life star Lucas Higdon appeared in Season 10 at 619 pounds. Just like many other patients of Dr. Now, Lucas has already been struggling with his mobility, making it difficult for him to perform any physical tasks. His condition has also affected his career. My 600-Lb Life: Lucas Higdon’s Impressive Progress
Dr. Now’s low-calorie diet program significantly affected Lucas’ impressive weight loss. The My 600-Lb Life star dropped over 80 pounds in just a couple of months. This led to Dr. Now’s decision to give him a green light for bariatric surgery. Things got much better when Lucas underwent the operation, shedding 218 pounds. He left the show at 380, and many of his photos today indicate that he’s doing much better in his journey.
What Happened To Lucas After The Show?
Lucas Higdon has uploaded numerous photos from his weight loss journey. In November 2022, the My 600-Lb Life star revealed that he got down to 380 pounds. He kept in touch with the fans online, and his most recent photo, taken on December 25, 2024, indicates that he had lost much more after two years. He captioned his post with, “So happy to have gotten to spend time with Jorge Talamantes the Talamantes family with Cherie, Sky, and Kevin as well. Love you guys. Merry Christmas!” He even carried one of his relatives, showing how strong he has gotten.
However, it seems Lucas is now dealing with excess skin, which may be something he’s looking forward to getting rid of this year. His last photo also received a lot of positive messages from fans.

Aside from his weight loss journey, Lucas Higdon also got back on track regarding his career. The My 600-Lb Life star was hired by a telecommunications company in the IT department. He’s also a digital artist and uses his free time doing his hobbies. One of them was playing with mini figures, which he admits to be somewhat “financially dangerous.” Lucas also likes to share adorable clips of his dog, and many fans are glad he has a positive companion amid his weight loss journey.
TLC has started releasing Where Are They Now? episodes since the Season 13 finale, which only covered seven patients with a finale that aired on February 12th. The latest episode of the segment featured Season 8’s Lindsey Witte, who returned with exciting news for the fans.
