But aside from TLC, Dr. Now also debuted a brand-new reality show with another network, Lifetime, 6000-Lb Diaries, which has the same concept as My 600-Lb Life. My 600-Lb Life: Dr. Now Continues To Shut Down Retirement Rumors
There have been speculations that Dr. Now will soon hang up his scalpel, especially after turning 80. Many fans believe that he deserves to enjoy his life. However, the My 600-Lb Life star continued to show dedication to his profession. He even attended a special event for surgeons earlier this year, where he tested a massive robot used for surgery.
In addition to that, Dr. Now continues to advocate a healthy lifestyle online. Many were also surprised when he uploaded a photo of himself watching his own show while working out at the gym, proving that he’s nowhere near retirement.
Dr. Now Doing Something Special For Fans
Dr. Now recently took to Instagram to share a clip of himself featuring his exciting announcement. The My 600-Lb Life star did his iconic greetings, asking fans, “How yall doing?” Moments later, Dr. Now revealed that on Sunday, March 9th, he will be holding a meet-and-greet event for his fans to appreciate their support.
Dr. Now added that the event would be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and he’s offering autographs and memorabilia. He even showed off a signed photo of himself that he will be giving away, along with a signed copy of his book. Many fans expressed their excitement in the comments section.

TLC recently released a special episode of My 600-Lb Life: Where Are They Now? featuring updates from Lindsey Witte, who appeared in Season 8. According to Lindsey, she moved to Houston to focus more on her weight and her husband. However, her husband ended up cheating on her, making her situation more difficult.
Lindsey added that her husband found someone who seemingly allows him to drink alcohol. Many fans believe this was a blessing in disguise, as Lindsey can now focus more on herself. TLC’s sudden release of the special episode also indicates that there may be more to come.
