‘The View’ Co-Hosts Call Out Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Repeated Offense

Recently, The View co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin called out Alyssa Farah Griffin after she had repeated offenses of rude behavior.
Touchy Topics Get The View Panelists Talking
As The View opened on Wednesday, February 26, moderator Whoopi Goldberg introduced the idea of President Trump offering a “Gold Card” for immigration. The Hot Topic of a new spin on the “Green Card” would allow a person to bypass some of the processes to get access to the United States if they have the financial means. But Alyssa Farah Griffin immediately was passionate about the topic.

Alyssa Farah Griffin Plows Over Co-Hosts’ Points
Whoopi Goldberg points out that Elon Musk “bought” America, and the “Gold Card” would have been a bargain. Then, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines jumped in. Controversially, Alyssa showed support for some of the talking points about the new proposal by President Trump. Sara thinks this could attract more criminals. But Sunny Hostin declares this is the “most expensive golden visa.” Likewise, she points out that Canada also has a border with the US and it isn’t being watched the same way. She says, “Those Canadian people that are kind of jumping back and forth” aren’t being eyed like those on the southern border “who look a certain way.”

Alyssa gets intense and interrupts Sunny. She interjects, “This is a misnomer, it’s not Canadians that come across the northern border.” Then, she adds that “people from other parts of the world” such as Mexico and India cross over the northern border if they have resources. Sunny continues to try and start again with her thought but Alyssa repeatedly plows over her to slam her ideas home. After that, Sunny is extremely irritated and finally calls Alyssa out pointedly. She says, “Can I just finish what I was saying so that I don’t lose my thought?” Furthermore, she puts her hands out to show her frustration, adding, “Can I finish talking?”
Whoopi Goldberg Also Calls Out Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Repeated Offense
Once Sunny Hostin says her peace, Whoopi Goldberg chimes in knowing it is almost time for The View to go to break. Even when Whoopi has the floor, Alyssa Farah Griffin continues to push to speak at the same time. Whoopi also calls her out, “Hold on a second, just let me finish now, this time.” Seemingly, it was apparent that Alyssa’s forcefulness was getting under their skin. Upon returning from break, Whoopi addressed the earlier scuffle.

Whoopi Goldberg said, “One of the joys of this gig is that there’s never enough time to get everything said because we only have 37 minutes to really get everything out and guests and all kinds of stuff.” She directs her hands toward the issues that had occurred between Sunny and Alyssa. Then, she recognizes that they are all “passionate” and want a chance to talk. Furthermore, Whoopi adds, “Because we’re not just a political show, we talk about lots of different stuff, we’re always trying to jockey about what we’re trying to talk about.” In response, Alyssa admits she has a ways to go with this problem. She said, “I know it gets heated, and I don’t mean to step on people when I do. I’m working on interrupting.”
