Lydia Plath’s Wedding Brings Up Some Talking Points
Over the weekend, Welcome To Plathville‘s Plath family got together to celebrate the union of Lydia Plath and her new husband, Zac Wyse. The gorgeous affair was captured through videos and photos showing Lydia’s magical moments. However, some people noticed a few faces were missing in the family pictures. Notably, Hosanna Plath wasn’t alongside her siblings for the big event. Likewise, some people think there is trouble for Micah Plath and his girlfriend, Veronica Peters’ relationship. Additionally, Ken Palmer was nowhere to be found either. Undoubtedly, the Plaths have had many things happen since the conclusion of Season 6.
Seemingly, many Welcome To Plathville fans have wondered if the Plath family will return to TLC to update viewers with what has been going on. Even though TLC hasn’t given their big media promotion for the show, other sources have confirmed that Season 7 is on its way.
Season 7 Of Welcome To Plathville Confirmed
According to Sarah Fraser from The Sarah Fraser Show, Season 7 is underway. In one TikTok, she said multiple sources confirmed with her that Season 7 began filming in January 2025. Based on that filming start, Sarah believes fans can expect to see it released in the summer of 2025. She predicts July or August. Furthermore, Olivia Plath is said to be featured in her Washington DC home. Originally, Sarah talked about the update in October of 2024. But following Lydia Plath’s wedding, Sarah gave an additional update.
Sarah Fraser Gives An Update On Plathville Following Lydia Plath’s Wedding
Even though Sarah Fraser knew in October last year that Welcome To Plathville would be continuing, she has since had Olivia Plath on her show who dropped some juicy details about the new content. One tidbit she shared was that Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica Peters, fell out of favor with Barry Plath. With Veronica’s Instagram Stories, fans have seen her trash the Plaths. But Sarah references in her new Instagram post that Isaac Plath had previously confirmed the newest season on his Instagram Stories.
Furthermore, Sarah Fraser says that Welcome To Plathville Season 7 might be the last because there has been some debate among the cast about whether or not to continue. But for now, the cast has chosen to make at least one more season.
TLC Fast-Track Weddings
Additionally, Sarah Fraser shared her thoughts on Instagram about Lydia Plath’s wedding. She drew a connection between Lydia and Zac’s fast-track wedding by comparing it to Sister Wives stars Christine Brown Woolley and David Woolley‘s speedy sprint down the aisle. Since Lydia and Zac got engaged in November 2024, a February wedding came very quickly.

She notes that Moriah Plath is looking a lot like Wednesday or Morticia Addams. Likewise, she sees that Micah Plath’s looks seem to indicate something is happening. In her most recent podcast, she added that people close to Micah Plath and Veronica Peters have said that the relationship didn’t pan out. With the huge rift with the Plaths, Veronica has gone her separate way. Although some people thought Micah’s new look resembled Brad Pitt, Sarah Fraser thinks he appears disheveled and as if he has been “dumped.” But time will tell if they are still together.
