1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton’s Shocking Confession In Season 6 Finale
The final episode of 1000-Lb Sisters Season 6 featured a lot of great news from the siblings. One of them was Chris Combs, who was finally approved for skin removal surgery. Tammy was supposed to get her skin removal surgery after looking for the right surgeon. However, the doctors pushed back the surgery after Tammy revealed that she still vapes “several times a day.”

Many viewers were disappointed that Tammy was still lying, not just to her doctors, but also to her fans. This may have also played a significant role in why some fans were skeptical about her recent GoFundMe post.
Tammy Shares GoFundMe, Is It Legit?
Last month, Tammy Slaton took to social media to share a fundraiser for her cousin, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. According to the 1000-Lb Sisters star, she apologized in advance for asking for money. She and her family have no other way to raise money for their cousin. Tammy added that those who couldn’t donate could pray for her cousin instead. But some fans have been skeptical about the fundraiser.

One commenter mentioned that Tammy said she had already donated on the page, but her name never showed up. Others agreed and mentioned that this wasn’t the first time the Slatons fooled and scammed their fans. Several people also said there wasn’t a single detail about the hospital or doctor for Tammy’s cousin.
- “I’m going to have to agree with you. Tammy even states she donated and her name isn’t on there. I love them, but I hope they aren’t the ones being scammed to scam their fans!”
- “Unfortunately this is not the first time they have done that. On their YouTube channel Amy started a gofundme because she had said that her sister Tammy was *ead.”
- “You can’t even find the gofundme anymore.”
- “Did yall ever think that maybe, just maybe, they donated to them in person?? I mean they are family and it would make more sense for them to donate directly instead of through gofundme.”
- “if she truly needs money for treatment, they would list the hospital, doctor, or clinic account number to help.”
1000-Lb Sisters: Amanda Halterman Confirms Cousin’s Illness
Amanda Halterman and her relatives also took to Facebook to talk about the cancer of their cousin, Katie. According to the 1000-Lb Sisters star, her cousin started chemotherapy last month, adding that it was a tough month for everyone. She then revealed that Katie had a second round of chemotherapy last week. Amanda said that her cousin is improving.

But she’s also suffering from the side effects of the treatment. She continued, “She feels the muscle and joint aches, some nausea, and fatigue but is much better this round than the last. We are so thankful that her symptoms are improving.”
