‘Mad House’ Abby Lee Miller Terrorizes New Dancers In Preview

Celebrity choreographer Abby Lee Miller was once known for her harsh teaching style on Lifetime’s Dance Moms. But since then, she’s gone on to make a splash in other reality television shows. Her latest venture, Mad House, is back for a second season on Brandon TV.
And it in true Abby Lee Miller fashion, it doesn’t appear like she will be any more gentle with this new bunch of dancers.

Abby Lee Miller Returns To Reality Television This Week
Although many have critiqued Abby Lee Miller’s brutal attitude for years, at the end of the day networks know she makes excellent reality television. When Mad House Season 2 returns, viewers will watch as she works with the biggest up-and-comers in the dance world.
“Building on the explosive drama that captivated fans in its debut, this season cranks up the intensity with jaw-dropping twists, surprising alliances, and the uncompromising tough love that only Abby Lee Miller, the housemother from hell, can bring,” PEOPLE shares the show’s official synopsis. “Abby takes her critiques to the next level, aimed at young adults navigating the high-pressure world of professional dance.”
And of course, it wouldn’t be an Abby Lee Miller series without tense conflict. In the teaser, a dancer confronts Miller over spreading gossip in the house and accusing the teacher of belittling her. Naturally, Abby Lee brushes her off.
“Pull it together. Save your tears for the pillow,” Miller humiliates the dancer at the dinner table.

The Former Dance Moms Star Wants To Build Professional Performers
The famous choreographer may have some cruel words for her castmates onscreen, but she recently spoke fondly with them in a PEOPLE interview.
“I knew a lot of the kids,” Miller shared with the publication. “Last year I pretty much cast the show by myself, single-handedly cast the show by calling in all these favors. This year it was a little different because people knew about Mad House, they had seen it. So a lot more kids wanted to be involved in participating.”
While she’s excited about teaching and expanding the show, she expressed frustration at the skillset the new dancers come in with.

“They don’t know anything. All they know is contemporary and lyrical and roll around on the floor. And it’s like that isn’t what’s going to get you a job. You’re not going to work doing that,” Miller continued, noting that many of these classic routines aren’t being taught in dance studios any longer.
“So we run into a lot of that on the show and I just go berserk on them when they can’t do it. The movies are there, go watch the damn movie and figure it out,” she concluded.
Catch the Season 2 premiere of Abby Lee Miller’s Mad House on Brandon TV starting February 27. New episodes air on the platform each Thursday.
