Did Hallmark’s ‘WCTH’ Inspire Romance Between Two Of Its Stars?
Over the years, quite a few couples met on the Hallmark set including WCTH heartthrob Chris McNally and Julie Gonzalo. However, at least one couple met on the When Calls The Heart set, if not two. Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry met on the Hope Valley set during Season 6 when both started on the show. Subsequently, they married in 2024.
But, it seems possible that the star of the series, Erin Krakow met Ben Rosenbaum on this set as well. Did the Hallmark series inspire their romance?
Did WCTH Inspire Erin Krakow And Ben Rosenbaum’s Romance?
Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum have starred in WCTH together for over a decade. Now, the couple share a sweet rescue dog named Willoughby. When Erin shared the sweet pup, she tagged Ben Rosenbaum in the social media post. Before this, there were rumors for years that the two were a couple. However, this was the big confirmation. Getting a dog together was a huge commitment for them.
However, there are more photos of Erin with Kevin McGarry on her social media than with her love Ben. That is because Kevin now plays her love interest Nathan Grant on the long-running Hallmark series. But, for those fans who do follow Erin and note her stories, they will see a lot more of Ben. Ben will be there to enjoy pancakes on Jack Wagner’s birthday. Or Ben there when they are hanging out with Hallmark alum, Lori Loughlin. Ben is always there. Ben has always been there which gave Hearties some notice that they had a romance.
Yet, did WCTH inspire Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s romance? It is likely that they are in a Hallmark project that did. There are way more couples matched up from Hallmark projects than When Calls The Heart. That is the bigger bubble.

These Two WCTH Couples Travel Together
There are two sets of couples who have worked together on the WCTH set. That includes Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, as well as Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry. What makes it pretty fun is that the foursome often travel together. They have gone to New York City where Erin used to live. She has frequently stated that she likes to take people to their favorite haunts.
In addition, the foursome have gone to Italy together. They have shared photos from their trip including some yummy looking Italian food. They seem to enjoy spending time together.
Hearties may wonder if Erin and Ben joined Kayla and Kevin on their honeymoon trip. Now Kayla has said she wants to go to Greece, while Kevin wants a city trip. Could they have some friends tag along? That remains to be seen. Their social media accounts will show the photographic evidence.
