‘ABP’ Bear Brown Details Scary Hospital Ordeal With Mom

Ami Brown of Alaskan Bush People fame has recently made headlines after facing multiple health scares. Through it all, her family has kept fans updated about the situation. In one recent update, Bear Brown shed some light on his mother’s ordeal.

Ami Brown Has Been In The ICU More Than Once This Month

Fans of Alaskan Bush People were introduced to Ami Brown as the matriarch of the Brown family. As seen on the show, the family attempted to live off the grid in Alaska.

Over the years, the family has kept fans updated about their lives on social media. Earlier this month, members of the family had shocking news for fans, as Ami had to be rushed to the hospital.

While being place in the ICU, the family continued to ask fans for prayers. At one point, Ami had to return to the ICU following an initial release. However, Ami’s son Bear has shared another update with fans.

Taking to Instagram, this time, Bear revealed things were looking better for his mother. As he shared in the caption, “Got some awesome news!”

Bear opened up the video in a similar way: “All right. Got some awesome news, guys. They just released Mom from the hospital. So, they got her up into good shape.”

“She’s obviously not 100% tip-top and she’s going to need a little bit of resting time and time to recuperate. So, they just released her from the hospital.

Bear Brown Thanked The Alaskan Bush People Fanbase For Their Prayers

Bear then explained what will happen next: “Noah is driving her back. It was a pretty good [way] away. They like flew her out. Had to medevac her to a bigger hospital.”

“So, Noah’s driving her back and [he] is going to bring her here to Raiven’s and I’s place and Mom is going to spend a little bit of time recuperating. Like I said, even though she’s out of the hospital, she’s not quite 100% tip-top, but they got her in really good shape and she’s doing great.”

However, despite the good news, Bear admitted, “It was definitely scary, guys. Anytime that like oxygen tubes are involved. When they have trouble waking people up. It’s just, it’s just, scary for sure.”

“I don’t mind saying I was pretty worried for a little bit, but Mom is super strong, super tough, and she’s out of the hospital. Thank you very much, guys, for all the support, the well wishes, and the prayers. You guys are amazing. Thank you very much and God bless. Stay awesome and stay extreme.”

In keeping with Bear’s final words, fans continued to share words of support over hearing the good news. Some comments included:

  • “I am very happy to hear this.”
  • “Thank you for the update. I’m so happy to hear this great news! Your mom is a strong lady! Many prayers for her continued recovery.”
  • “That’s a blessing that she’s out of the hospital. I know you guys will keep her comfy and feed her well and keep her spirits up. Thanks for the update.”
