Tia Mowry Embraces Her Emotions To Foster Empowerment
Tia Mowry has had an epic year. Notably, she released her new reality series, Tia Mowry: My Next Act. Tia has shared that she chose to share the reality of her life on the show to help others. She expressed that she purposely stayed vulnerable with her feelings during filming to foster empowerment. Mowry’s We TV show has been nominated at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.
Tia Mowry Appreciates The Small Things
Tia has been working hard to take viewers on a behind-the-scenes look at her life. Her show Tia Mowry: My Next Act debuted in the fall of 2024. The show follows Tia as she navigates her divorce from her ex-husband Cory Hardrict, and her journey of single motherhood. Understandably this time was filled with lots of emotions for Tia, who stated she aimed to show her true feelings on the show.
Tia Mowry has a son named Cree, who is 13, and a daughter named Cairo, who is 6, with Corey Hardrict, who is 45. The couple ended their relationship after being married for 14 years. Mowry has been vocal about the importance of the relationship with her children. She calls herself “a nurturer.” She loves to share her love for the kids by cooking yummy home-cooked meals. Tia explained that she likes to celebrate the little moments in life with the children. Tia is big on the principle of gratitude. She keeps a gratitude journal that she writes in every morning. She said:
“I have a gratitude journal that I write in every morning, and I think, again, it starts your day off with intention. I truly notice a difference when I focus on gratitude so much that I also have my children do it.”
Tia Mowry Wants To Empower Others
This year has been nothing short of phenomenal for Tia. With the exciting debut of her new reality series, Tia Mowry: My Next Act. Mowry has taken viewers on a genuine journey through her life. “To see that it was recognized, I was not looking for that at all. It really touched my soul that this show was and has been received, noticed, heard, and supported. I’m just grateful.”
