‘The View’ ‘Cringe’ Sunny Hostin Dragged By Fans
The View fans recently went in on co-host Sunny Hostin, dragging her across the coals for some of her antics on the popular talk show. So, what did viewers have to say recently based on what they have seen from her?
The View Has A Lot Of Big Personalities On The Panel
As veteran The View watchers know, there are a lot of big personalities on the talk show panel. Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar instantly come to mind for a lot of viewers, as they are some of the most famous and opinionated co-hosts to ever appear on the show.
However, it’s not just Whoopi and Joy that watchers hear from. There are other panel members that also offer their two cents. In this aspect, there is some variety with people like Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin, and more. As much as the claws occasionally come out among the panel members, viewers recently dragged Sunny, and they had plenty to say.
Sunny Hostin Was A Recent Target Among Viewers
While there are some viewers who like Sunny Hostin, and like hearing what she has to say, many people feel the complete opposite about her. Based on recent comments from The View watchers, many did not hold back when it came to dragging the co-host across the coals.
While different The View hosts become targets based on a lot of the opinions they share, based on recent comments from viewers, it was Sunny Hostin’s turn to get roasted, and viewers did not hold back.
In recent scenes, Sunny went off on Pete Buttigieg and his remarks about DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). Buttigieg said: “What do we mean when we talk about diversity? Is it caring for people’s different experiences and making sure no one is mistreated because of them, which I will always fight for? Or is it making people sit through a training that looks like something out of Portlandia, which I have also experienced. And it is how Trump Republicans are made, if that comes to your workplace with the best of intentions, but doesn’t actually get at what actually matters here, what’s actually at stake.”
Sunny flat-out disagreed with his stance, saying: “I like Pete, of course. But I think he got that so wrong and it was so tone-deaf, considering what’s going on.”
Hostin continued, saying: “What happens is, when from 1776 to 1965 you have basically white men in charge of everything, right? Women, people of color, we’re left out of just, equality.”
The View Fans Let Co-Host Have It
- One commenter recently said: “It is just so exhausting how Sunny refuses to read the room after all these years. Her ideology of condescending latte liberalism has been roundly rejected. I just want Democrats to f***ing win in 2026/2028 and banish the Trump era to the ash heap of history. The last thing we need is a tone-deaf losing strategy that is hopelessly stuck behind the times.”
- Another commenter chimed in, adding: “The issue is without laws minorities and even women will never get the chance. That is what she is frustrated about and I get it. That being said right now we are in the middle of a class war. The billionaires against the working class. That is our ticket out of this mess.if there is an out, because at this point idk there is.”
- A third person said: “Sunny being frustrated is understandable. But Sunny and others refusing to consider what it takes to win is killing us. Literally.”
- Another person added: “Sunny Hostins family owned slaves, and a lot of them. She is trying to save face because she knows she’s extremely privileged and off the backs of others. If you parrot her opinions, look inward.”
